WTB Namco Kick Harness

Since I can't find a damn electronics parts store that sells a 48 pin edge card connector to make my own.

Anyone got a Namco Kick Harness they want to get rid of, on the cheap.

I would even be interested in taking a namco fighter off your hands if it gets me the kick harness.

Thats exactly what I had to do.
I bought a Tekken 3 PCB for the Kick Harness.

Its not that bad of a deal really if you like the game.
The harness new goes for 13.95 plus shipping. So if you can pick up the
PCB for around $30 bux you get a pretty cheap board with a kick harness.

Jammaboards.com has been out of stock for so long I
wonder at this point if they plan to ever restock?

Maybe you could send him a PM and negotiate it down.
No body with any cents is going to buy that unless he
lowers the price substantially.

Link him to Jammaboards.com and show em what they are new.
Just tell him you are in a bind and would like to buy his for a reasonable price
or that your just willing to wait till Jammboards restocks if he wont. See what he says.

Thanks guys for all the suggestions. I've been watching jamma boards for awhile and like you said JustinS they've been out of stock for so long.

I've seen the one on ebay going for $30. Actually there was someone who had 10 in stock on ebay about 2 weeks ago selling for $14. I should have bought then but was under the impression I'd be able to build my own using a regular jamma harness edge connector. I was planning on just cutting it to fit but didn't realize that the pin spacing was different.

Thanks Sammybean, but I don't see the usual kick harness adapter on that wiring loom. Or am I missing something?

Whoa, WARNING!

The Tekken 4/5 kick harness is NOT the same as Tekken 3.

Tekken 4 and 5 are System 246/256 and have a 10 pin connector similar to a Capcom kick harness. The Tekken 3 PCB that you have does not have the same harness!

It was worth a shot.

i would just solder wires from the secondary edge connector to your JAMMA edge. Easy breezy, easily un-doable. No kick-harness needed.

did that with my Soul Calibur and Soul Edge

Yeah, I would prefer to do things right. I'm not that desperate to play Tekken 2.

you care more than Namco did. They put buttons 3 and 4 on a seperate edge connector
