Like many I sold most of my collection years ago to buy a nice car. Worst decision I've made. I thought the 2006/2009 prices were already expensive, and I thought in time as neo because more obscure that homecart prices would go fown instead of up. I felt like when I sold my collection that it was no big deal at all and that I could always rebuy them for what I sold them for. I had a huge & mostly English collection, even multiple copies of arse-rare games. My collection would be worth 6 digits easy today, and that's excluding my MVS collection which was primarily loose carts but complete English kits for desireable titles (except JPN exclusives of course).

The only answer now is Suicide.

Jesus christ. I made the same mistake with Genesis. I sold a complete copy of The Punisher to a guy in France for $100.:oh_no:

I could have sold ONE AES cart and made more money than I got for my entire collection. To be fair, hindsight is 20/20, and I did better than breaking even. I just never knew neo would be INSANE like it is today. I miss my collection because I love neo and don't want to go the multicart route, so going to buy MVS at what were AES prices in the past...

I had the same thoughts that Neo stuff would either go down or just stay the same because the scene was so small at the time and most people on the forums already had what they wanted. Then all of these youtube vids started popping up and prices slowly started to rise.
