Hey guys.

I'm looking for a cheap PAL GameCube that I can use to play GBA games with RGB. I don't need any cables or controllers, just the system (but can still get the whole thing if the price is right). I'm in Canada so if someone from here have it, would be even better as shipping would be cheaper.

If someone has one, please let me know. Thank you very much!

I ended up buying a Pal motherboard, and swapping it into an NTSC gamecube. was cheaper for me, since I already had an extra gamecube laying around. once you do it though, you wont be disappointed :) good luck

I know nothing of electronics so I might as well just buy the whole thing, lol.
Would a NTSC SNES RGB cable (JP21, c-sync) work in a PAL GameCube?

So I got one from eBay and when it arrived, it wasn't working. It couldn't read discs. So I'm still looking for one. I would really appreciate if an Euro friends could help. Thanks!

Rot mentioned in chat last night that he has a couple spare GCs. Shoot him a PM.

Are GC lasers simple to replace? I have only adjusted the laser pit on a dead-ish one before, but some assemblies are easier to replace than others.

You can pull the laser assembly out of a USA one and drop it into a PAL and it will work fine.

I also wonder if that's really the problem. I mean, it's not reading discs but would getting a new laser lens solve the issue? Any way to check it before ordering one?

Does the NTSC cube need to have digital out?

No, But u need to get The same type to swap. Like if u get a pal gc with digital out, then get a ntsc gc with digital out. If u just have the analog port, then get a pal gc with just the analog port.
