Looking for a couple things;

1P sega panel, 4 or 6 buttons. Don't care what the art is as long as it looks OK. Prefer unpopulated. Might be willing to trade a 2p new net city panel but would prefer not to part with that one.

2x undamned USB decoders. Out of stock at paradise at the moment, I can wait but if anyone has extras they don't need I wouldn't mind buying them.

Cheers.

bareboard decoders, or the encased USB to DB15?

KP - yep, like that. I got a lead on one already but if I don't scoop that I'll get in touch. Thanks!

Also re: UD decoders, actually either should work. I want to make a setup with a sega IO where my friends can use their own sticks.

Panel found, thanks all. Updated OP. Customs damaged a CPS3 board I just got, so if anyone has a bare mother that would be quite helpful for me.

I'm usually pretty handy, but the soldering on CPS3 is getting a bit fine pitch for my skills. If it didn't involve international shipping I'd think about it, regardless I appreciate it.

how damaged was it?

In short the customs folks sliced the anti-static bag and probably messed up the volume pot at that point, and they also bitch-slapped the prog simms (1 and 2) out of their slots. I got the clips that hold in the simms bent back in to shape, but they're very inconsistent. 25% of the time it boots with a garbled screen. If I hold in the simms while booting that percentage drops a bit.

I've cleaned the simms and slots as best I can using what I have on hand (pencil eraser, alcohol, etc) which has helped a bit, but definitely still inconsistent. I ordered some deoxit since I am out, so that's kind of the last hope for this board at the moment, though it will probably be a big help.

Skate, bruh, try to hook me up with that A board.

I generally prefer to trade rather than sell... but I'll think about it. If you have anything you might want to trade let me know and I'll certainly consider it.

.

Yeah they are difficult. Anyway if you want them let me know, I can send them to you for free and if you can fix them just send me back one or something. I have been chasing a working mobo for a while with no luck.

I'll consider having a look :)

Got in some fresh deoxit today... hoping to work some magic later.

No dice... cleaned the simms and slots with deoxit (that shit is amazing... I got so much dirt out) and the board is still having issues.

I'm down to either the 64M simms themselves or their slots. You can see the data being unstable on them (it's fine on the 128's) in the super bios memory viewer. So, I would be after a couple simms so I can get down to a "final answer" on this board.

as for the undamned decoders: try messaging him directly, Grendell PMd with him (here) about 3 weeks ago and purchased two - but he had to wait about 2 months after his first PM to hear back from him, so...
