Under contract law,

Obvious typographical and clerical errors are non-binding.

I'm sure ryan honered it anyways...

Maybe it was just to hype the store?

Selling something at auction on ebay is a binding contract.

If your business has integrity, you honor that contract, regardless of whether or not you screwed up.

I'm sure many of you have gotten "deals" that if the seller knew about what they had, they would've spit in your face. It's good for you when you pick it up, but not when it's you taking the hit.

He chose to honor this contract regardless of financials. For all these people who say the Neo is not abot $$$ or whatever... and the BS that passes for "doing right by the community" etc... you change your tune for something like this.

You'll lambast people for shill bidding and other questionable(but legal) tactics, but when it comes to having your feet held to the fire on a LEGAL sale... all bets are off.

Think about your hypocrisy.

Understand your point...However I would have preferred to work out something
with the buyer first.

I have never had a bad transaction with anyone in here, this clearly seems like
an error (Mistake), unlike Kennyboy's auctions which are straight up fishy, or
ngf's for that matter.

In the end my opinions are usually the contrary of yours and many other people,
so should have known from the beggining what my answer would be. You're
just trying to start arguments everytime you disagree with me on something,
faggot.

I have much better things to do than trying to start an argument with someone who looks like Corky from the Telemundo remake of Life Goes On.

IF you want to be a dishonorable person in regards to a commitment to sale only when it comes to your sales, fine.. but it says a lot about your character.

If it's your fuckup, you pay for it. Plain and simple.

Like if you accidentally stuck 9 oranges in those bags you sell and someone paid for 12, are you going to chase that person down with your shopping cart and fix it? I know for a fact you wouldn't. You would probably take that cash and get another gold crown air freshener for your 86 Cutlass with the beaded seat cover and red velvet interior.

what is it that you're doing right now
then? attacking my physical apperance, I guess
if it makes you feel better that's good. That was a funny picture, that was taken
at a neo get together, see the real me, I'm sure I could kick your fucking asshole.

If you were the seller, I'm sure you will give all your Samurai Spirits away, and
make your buyer happy. That's how it is in the real world you give things away
to keep your customer happy no? fucking idiot, that's what you are. In real
business, you try to work something out with the customer, no body is going to
give
anyone anything for free, no body, only of
course if you're a fucking idiot, hero wannabe who wants everything for free.

Now shut the fuck up, why not compare my job against your job and see who's
doing better fucktard?

In business, you try to gain money, not lose it. Have some common sense
fucktard.

That I highly doubt.. *HIGHLY* doubt. I'm not an e-thug by any stretch... at all. Rest assured, though. It wouldn't be pretty for you.

I've fucked up transactions and I've been a man about it and covered it.

I'm saying it's honorable of him to cover it. It's why he's got a great reputation.

If you don't think that I've covered my fuckups and I'm an internet hero, I'm sure there's a few people here that I've made my fuckups right with or just given stuff because it was the right thing to do or helped somebody out.

I've sent board members free stuff.. more than you would know. In fact, I just sent a member something this week for free because he needed a part. DanAdamKOF, in fact. I've sent him a bunch of JAMMA harnesses for free a few times for his projects. I sent BMU a laptop. I've sent other members plenty of stuff.

Compare Jobs? In a second. You have no idea what I do, do you? When you're resorting to comparing jobs on a message board, it only shows what a fucking tool you are.. (like we didn't know already)

Heh.. the great tooshort and I've made you my bitch and now you're struggling at these moronic statements... I'm sitting at my desk, laughing my ass off right now.

You = My Bitch.

Damn, Jorge, now you are struggling for attention.

First you spent all of your parents money on your worthless Neo-Geo collection, now you are going to beat people up, and the finale... you want to compare jobs.

The fact here is, after all of the bashing of people, ignorance and trying to act elite, you are a proven poser.

I simply made that picture as a "funny" but you took it to then next level by calling me out, obviously it wasnt too funny to you.

Go ahead and say you are going to kick my ass.

Tell me how you have a better career than I do.

You have a few screws loose to be bragging on the internet about yourself.

Yup, word around the campfire is Jorge and his 27 brothers and sisters jump pack into a stake body truck and ride across the border to Century 21.

Heh.. when you get Jorge to sell your house, they're probably the best landscaped houses in the book.

"Hey... chico... you buy from me, I give your trailer spinnerrrs, ese."

I'm Italian, I hear shit all the time about my nationality, it doesnt upset me in the least.

You need to chill out.

I may need a racial sensitivity course...

If you can take what you dish out, then so be it.

There are certain members here that have to start crying when a drop of racism hits the bucket.

Don't be one.

This is pretty much why I l love Neo-Geo.com.

Terrible about that price though...If I was the seller I think I might have to take the -1. Or possibly just talk to the buyer and try to understand the situation, and just give him, SSI/II or something...

But those -1's are definately not to be fucked with. One bad transaction (or a few) can really tarnish someones reputation, as a honorable seller. Just look at the situation with Kid Aphex.

When it all comes down to it, this is a true test of the eBay honor system, and Rimm_RS did it by the book and honored his own error.

i can see the argument from both sides. but, if you are dumb enough to fuck it up, even when they ask you to confirm it, then you deserve to lose the $500+.

fuck that "business comes first" shit. if you were TRULY a good/honorable seller, you'd do the right thing and NOT fuck over a potential buyer. things will get fucked up REALLY fast--just look at this board for example. one guy agrees to buy something from a fellow member. that seller decides to be shady and either not sell or send some CRAP. what happens? WWIII, that's what. the potential buyer then goes on the offensive and slams, attacks, and does everything in his power to let EVERYONE else know how much of an ass this guy is.

what did your little $500 save cost you then? literally thousands, if you're a seller of that magnitude. you want to argue BUSINESS? try pleasing the guy who won the auction fairly (just as it happened with this case) and you then have a VERY happy customer who will definitely return and even spread the good word about the great deal he got with ___(insert name here)___.

it's sad to see that there are some guys out here that would still screw someone over, even when they make a piss poor mistake on their own.
