Guess I have to make a new thread... Impressive with the cart slot doors, especially if the reset button actually works. This thing is larger than you're probably imaginging. I still don't understand what the two memory card slots are for. Some kind of custom SRAM mod?

And Double Dragon is great. Nothing else that looks, sounds, and plays like it on the system. Real shame there was only one game.

For me, Waku Waku 7 is one of the best fighters on the system. Sure, the wacky cartoon nature of it might not be for everyone, but it's got a solid fighting system, and CPU is pretty fair.
As @Neo Alec has already said - it's amazing that this came from the same people who delivered one the era's worst fighting games. Boy, did they redeem themselves.

Shame that one never got a sequel either.
My only complaint about WW7 is that if you're in any way photosensitive, you're either going to get a massive headache or end up flopping on the floor like a fish from all of it's flashing screens, especially with the super moves.

I wanted to get the MVS cart back in high school but always ended up choosing to buy other games, so I've only ever played this emulated. I might have liked it more back then but now? The anime aesthetic is just too sickeningly cute for me.

I remember thinking Kabuki Klash looked great on the Neo Geo Collectors Tape, but then when I finally actually played it I didn't like the stiff feel of the controls. It was a striking case of a game that looked great in action, but didn't feel great to actually play. I know others disagree, so I want to give the game more chances.

Kabuki Klash does look good and is fun - till you play 2P, and someone uses the (more than average) broken / cheap tricks, like that stupid bint that has as special move that destroys your life gauge with chip damage if you dare parry it. Gets old real quick.
