2k3 is pretty garbo. Has the same terrible sound design as svc chaos, so it's baffling to me that they thought it was acceptable to leave the sound that way in two consecutive releases.

But I think 2001 is worse.

02 probably has better tunes than 03 overall. 03's soundfont feels closer to the original SNK games, and just better acquits itself.

I know I'm in the minority here but I actually like 94. It's rough around the edges and later games are better, but I still have good fun with it. It feels more like Fatal Fury Special 2 instead of the later KOF games.
