CENTCOM and SOCOM are in Tampa but not sure NK could reach us here. Would prefer not to find out.

PS. Thanks Trump voters, great jerb!

Surely they would not nuke the capital of their biggest ally and neighbor.

And who's gonna be our favorite nazi faggot if you get nuked? oliverclaude? Nigga please. We can't go from Mein Kampf to Immanuel Kant just like that, the vilification of German faggotry would get out of hand.

Being stuck with that pretentious faggot would be terrible.

I wonder how that would play out for you, if it dramatically ramped up US-China tensions, which it surely must?

It means I wouldn't be able to visit Seoul again since it would just be a giant crater.

Which is something I think about - all the Americans who think it's time to go to war with NK, do they not understand that one of the largest cities in the world would be wiped off the face of the world? Do they not care? I'm guessing not.

Time for a snag and a tinnie aye?

Sure. On the Beach is one of my favorite movies. It meticulously explores every option you'll have in this a situation, i.e. any situation, and comes to the conclusion that they all suck. As I said, one of my favorite movies.

I think...or I hope rather, those who think war with NK (or anyone) is a good idea are that uneducated 10% who view the world from a confined space and think of it as a video game and not a real thing. Sadly some conservatives play to that base and fuel those thoughts, but I think it really is a smaller minority. We would win a war with North Korea, but at great cost to our serviceman, and countries we call our allies. Trump campaigned "America First" and has since poked and threatened North Korea, Venezuela, Iran, and Yemen. He said he would stop being the world's policeman and has done the opposite. I'm glad Tillerson and Mattis continue to contradict him publicly, but at some point he needs to be removed before a unrecoverable mistake is made.

That movie sounds great but a good weiss wurst and some sauerkraut mit gut hefeweissbier would be better surely?

With such global military presence both singularly and considering allies, you have to continue the trend started long ago. Descending doesn't really make a lot of sense.

Not even descending necessarily, but rather letting the S. Koreans and Japanese take the lead with support from the US. There is no reason the US should be lobbying for the THAAD system unless the S. Koreans are begging for it - they aren't. Their current president has been against it, much of their government has been against it, the people have been against it - and we're actively pushing for it despite this. It lends credence to the Russian and Chinese claims that it is a tool of ours to use for other means than defending the S. Koreans - when there leadership is actively questioning it and apparently being bullied into deploying it.

Suggesting military force in Venezuela is asinine. If our friends in Columbia or Chile think it's necessary for humanitarian reasons, or to support a popular uprising, then it's something to coherently talk about. Taking the lead and making the plight of their people about Trump and America is embarrassing and dangerous.

Being in Denver and near NORAD, I would be gone quickly.

Ehhh, I don't think NORAD is as important as it used to be. I hear ya though, I'd be toast if it was nuked early. But you have to remember that Fort Carson, Peterson AFB, and the Air Force Academy are all nearby as well so you'd hope they'd be able to scramble and do SOMETHING before it got too close.

I believe you meant "the vast majority of conservatives play to that base"
