Hmm... Well, she contacted me about my MVS wanted list and is supposedly shipping 3 carts to me. I asked her to ship first and she was very friendly. I hope she's not a scammer. If she is, she will be outed in no time, I'm sure.

Not to mention Aaron Lewis was all about the weed smokin' too, and this dir_en_grey person was asking about rarity of games in the handheld section...possibly to get a better value out of the scam?

Sounds like bullshit to me, hope this works out for everyone. We haven't been hit here in awhile, and I hope this doesn't break that streak.

@ dir_en_grey - If this post offends you, tough shit.

Definitely a scammer.

She supposedly mailed out a NG PS2 stick last wednesday for 2 DS games and a GBA game. Unfortunately, USPS Priority mail from AR to PA does not take 4+ days, hell, everytime I get something via Priority I get it in 2 days, never even 3, regardless of where it is coming from. Also, she could not find the delivery confirmation number for the package and claimed to have misplaced it. When I PMed her on here last Thursday and Friday, no response. Eventually she messaged back, asking me to resend my PM because her inbox was full. On Saturday, she asked if I had received the stick yet and proceeded to blame USPS for it still not arriving here.

I messaged the ebay account she supplied me with, "boopzdoodl", still no response from there either.

Checked the mail today, still no stick. I did, however, get my games back today (as stated in an earlier post, I screwed up the send to address by accident, a lucky accident at that). Granted I am out $10 from the shipping, but its better then being out the $90 I originally spent on these.

The address i got was

I got that same address, however, the first line was just, "e.w.h". Odd, especially since I messaged them back to verify the address.

funny I a noob to the scene myself would have never thought anything until she never really responded to pm's after making me an offer to trade my 6-slot mobo. I asked for pictures but you guessed it no pics yet.

did anyone catch the ufc fight last night? it was excellent!

Ok so... on Aug 19th she(he) was introduced to the Neo and decided to go MVS + supergun. But she(he)'s been collecting AES and MVS carts for her kids for years... Been a NG.com lurker for a few years but never touched a Neo till OVGE 06?

Huh? That's some contradictory shit right there bitch.

Well, the money order for the supergun she bought from me did not show up today. She said she mailed it last wednesday. It shouldn't take this long. Hmm. I'll give it a few more days, but if it doesn't show up by then, I'll know I was wrong and she(he) is a scammer.:(

Well, I thought there was something odd about this person from the beginning, but it's better to avoid jumping the gun and accusing someone without proof. The fact that they never provided tracking numbers to anyone is pretty incriminating in itself.

It looks like she was mostly buying, not selling, so I don't see how it's possible to scam anyone in this manner. It doesn't make sense does it? Why offer to send first on a trade if she was intending to scam? Something doesn't fit.

Has anyone gotten anything from this person yet?

On the plus side... if you Google it, it's an apartment complex.

Strange place to run a business sounding address from, but it does beat an anonymous Post Office box.

If it's legit, that's fine. If it's not then there may be recourse through the property management company.

Sometimes the Post Office loses things. They say to wait 14 days from the date of delivery before you file for something being lost. It would be very odd to find all "her" shipped items to be late though. Give it a more time before doing something rash.

We live in an instant gratification society. PayPal & Priority Mail shipping only makes it quicker. Does anyone ship slow boat 4-6 weeks overseas any more? I bet not. :p We are all too impatient.

Man the scammer alarm is going off big time!

Why the fuck did you all deal with a n00b in such faith???

I hope this all gets resolved, but the multiple deals, missed posting dates, packages getting lost, excuses from the person etc sounds like an obvious scammer.

From the minute I saw the account, I assumed it was someone's fake account. I had no idea he/she had been organising so many deals.

Also she mentioned going to OVGE in OK city and all.

Can anyone vouch for that? That might clear things up too some, as she said she went to it and got more hooked on the Neo scene

Thanks
Jeff

Tulsa, not OKc actually.

The member in question says she was at OVGE, but I don't remember or recognize her. Then again I had about four hours of sleep prior to the show so take that for face value.

Same happened to me, man. She told me that she was going to send Dead Rising along with a few other 360 titles in a trade for my ds phat and games, so I went ahead and sold my copy of Dead Rising since I figured i'd have a new one in the mail soon. Even though I got some cash for Dead Rising, I feel jipped knowing that I probably won't get a replacement anytime soon. :crying:

And on a very weird note, what happened to all of her Threads/Posts? Out of curiousity, I decided to go to her profile and check out her posts, mainly because of the one Qube mentioned about the rare DS games (since I was going to trade her my ds games) and it says, "Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms." And I can't see the reply that she made earlier in this thread either. Did they get deleted or what?

So she agreed to buy a DS from two different members? Sounds like the intent was there from the beginning. What an ass.

Nobody would buy MVS carts for their kids... Sure, they're cheaper than AES stuff, but their still not cheap, per se. That stuff would get broken so fast with little kids using it... What a ridiculous story.

I think we can all see this for what it is now. I definitely consider this my warning. I hope others realize this too.

E. Will Henley strikes again aka aaronlewis, wolvie, oceanvein, etc etc.

Arkansas, Memphis, Colorado, it's all the same. This MO is totally transparent.

He's a total degenerate - what a sad, pathetic life, constantly trying to scam up a few grand by ripping noobs on a video game site. I can't imagine the depressing day-to-day life that this tool leads.

Let's see how this pans out.

I've still got his grandma's number somewhere in old files - I think I've got some phone numbers for other family members too. I'll have to see if I can dig up his livejournal and his girlfriend's livejournal. Now that was some funny shit.

Its beyond comprehension for me that someone would willingly try and con people out of stuff they have paid for with hard earned cash. Some kids on here save pocket money for weeks to buy games, ive worked my ass off with overtime to buy stuff ive wanted and these low life pricks just have no morals whatsoever.

Im close to beeing ripped out of $200 by someone else at the minute also who claims my stuff may be lost in the post. Im going to start sticking to ECL and the likes from now on I think. Too many pricks in the world!
