Who would like to take over the MVS Price Guides?

I did what I needed to do.

Updated the cart prices and created the MVS kit guide.

I'm no longer following any market trends, so my input is useless at this point.

Looking for a dedicated member who knows his shit.

The few that I've asked have already turned it down.

Any nominations?

I'm willing to take over the cart price guide. I followed the market around 2000-2004, and have followed it again for the last year to year and a half.

I know some members disagree with me on some of the lower-value cart prices, but if I'm to do it, I'd be more than happy to take suggestions and go with a general consensus on any game's price, so long as it's reasonable.

Judging from the last conversation in the other thread I would have to say no to you Collin.

I would have to disagree with putting you in charge mmsadda. It seems as though you wieght your input far more than other people's input.

I'd like Xian Xi to take it over.

But if anyone else has any interest, LMK.

XianXi would be a great candidate! Did he already turn it down?

I'd love to BUT I know I do not have that much knowledge of the pricing for the MVS kit guide. Maybe Wolf would be a better choice.

My top choices were NeoTurfMasta and Xian Xi.

Both have turned it down.

If you guys know anyone else who is well versed on the subject and is interested LMK.

I just dont have the time nor desire to continue updating.

The main difficulty is it being in US prices. I dunno I like tomcat also and he's generally alright on prices, but.. I've seen him selling an MS3 for 69 euros and then gone and bought one for £40, and then seen multiple others come up for £40 or £35 forever more.

Just abolish them, easiest way. I am usually spot on with estimations on bare carts over at AO, just after years of buying, selling, and watching ebay sales. Having a set list is a ballache as it needs constant maintaining. A 'whats it worth?' thread as a sticky is better as it can change from week to week and actively reflects the market current market better.

You want to take it over?

Another board I frequent handles it this way, pretty accurate!

i nominate joe8.

he could price every game in terms of its relative worth compared to aerofighters 2.

for example. An unboxed mahjong controller would be worth 6 aerofighter 2 loose carts, or 3 aerofighter 2 complete kits.

:lolz: You KNOW he'd use polls to decide whether or not to raise or lower prices rather than look them up.

So I guess my nomination is a no?
