Who Still truly loves to play KOF '94?

I don't care how many times I play it, or how many other fighters surpass it. I still love to play the original, hardcore, first 3-on-3 SNK tournament King of Fighters 94. Of course, the game is completely dated, the series has improved on itself immensely, and some parts of the controls leave much to be desired, but I still love to play this game. There's always a lot of talk about the 2000+ years of the game and hype about KOF 98 here and there, but it seems as if you don't hear much about the bad boy that is 94. Who still loves to play this game? How often? What really draws you in to this old, now classic, fighting game?

I will put it in the cab if someone wants to play it..

If they want to get the whole experience of KOF as it was in Neo Geo Arcade machines..
I really don't like to have a new KOF in the cab if someone comes over and has never played a KOF..Hey,they are out there

One of my Nintendo collector friends had never played KOF and he loves it..Now..(He's not a fighting game player)
I started him off with KOF 94..going through each game until he got up to KOF 01..
That's all he wants to play now..the KOFs..

I'm going to pop 94 in the Candy,when I get around to the KOFs to try the games out in different UNI BIOS setting..

94's graphics was a gem at the time and still look pretty good today. (IMHO)

It started my favorite fighting game series, so of course I love it.

No team edit really killed '94 for me. Now 95, 95 is great. Some of the backgrounds are easily the among best in the series, and I dig those chunky old sprites.

I hated 94 when I played it back in 96, and I still hate it now. I played 95 first, and then saw 94.... and I was like "WTF".

Still don't care for 94. Oh well.

Oh yea mate, 95 is so great! Even if I own 98, I still play 95 every day because it's such a special feeling, it's fucking roots!

Yeah, still play it on MVS, the music is awesome, and so are the combos and chains you can pull off.

I love the music when you fight rugals second form - badass.

Oh I love that game, I've been trying to get it for my AES for a while now but just can't find it for a good price. The only draw back is not being able to use my favorite team. Terry, Mai, and Ryo. And my favorite stage Pao Pao Cafe.

Gameplay-wise, it's the worst KOF but it has really good atmosphere and music that makes it worth playing through from time to time.
