Whip, cheap or not?

Not really. Most of her moves have a lot of delay and weird/long ranges, but if you rush a Whip player, he's done.

Whip was only really abusive in 2001. Combo-ing her D grab with hcb+C was insane.

I think she has too high of a learning curve to be cheap. I agree that here moves are often hard to hit because they have weird ranges.

Let's just put it this way. It takes skill and practice to be cheap with Whip. If you're a skilled player, then using WHip will come in handy. I've seen skilled people be cheap with Chang, and I didn't know that was possible

It's true. She is rather limited in 2002. I find myself almost struggling with the joystick just to pull off a decent combo.

I've played fuckers who are cheap with Chang. It sux.

I've played against some people with her (Whip) that said I was being cheap, but they suck, if they knew how to block, it wouldn't be a problem, I'm not even very good with her.

whip isn't cheap,
she's just frustrating to play against given once you get caught
in a move of hers you have to sit through whatever move she's pulling off.
to new kids that's frustrating.
i don't play with her, but honestly don't find her that hard to shut down,
i've never really found a great whip player and the computer is usually pretty predictable with her.

My 'Whip' is one of my most powerful female besides

As long as shes not doing that annoying "teleport" move up and down where she screams like a monkey with down syndrome, she worthless. I have noticed SHe can be used for hella combos. I personally have no problem fighting her.
