which ac adapter does my aes need? *WITH PIC*

My aes came without one, but I found a pro-pow3 ac adapter, the aes has serial 171k, also says pro-pow3 on the back, but I'm not sure...could the wrong one fry my aes?

You need the 9-10v adapter.

Look at the reset button. See the little 5 pin voltage regulator bolted to the board just below it in the picture? That's what converts it down to the 5v needed by the game.

ah thanks for the info! does it matter if the adapter is 16VA/19VA or 850mA / 1000mA?
