At this point you can just write :kekeke:, and people know what you mean.

I'm glad fucking :chimp: is gone, that was the worst smiley ever.

I disagree.

Let's keep this site neogeo simple, as anachronistic as it may sound. We can't cater to everyone, and I would hate to see the site lose its roots in order to appeal more to people who don't care about neo geo games.

I'm with you here... then again, a lot of people play ports of Neo/SNK games on PS2 or Xbox, and while I also think we should not lose the Neo focus, it couldn't hurt to try to get a bit more gameplay-related discussion out of this site by offering non-Neo move smilies (which doesn't automatically mean non-Neo gaming talk).

I have never lost the Neo feeling and never will, we could scratch Unrelated and a few others and I wouldn't even blink with my left eye...

Oh, and kern, I bet you'd make an excellent and so friendly 3DO review section mod.

I miss :kekeke: somewhat, it was an amusing looking smiley, but it was mainly an alternative to the :lolz: :glee: :tickled:  and :mr_t:. Personally the :kekeke: became iconic for me when it became associated with Boog. As for the :chimp:, I don't think I ever got much use out of that, what did it even signify, and what did it look like? (I forget already --- poor short-term memory)

The joystick smileys are fantastic additions in my opinion --- and they're static to boot. Moving smileys sometimes can seriously bog down certain browsers when I'm posting replies or creating new threads.

Riddle me this then, batman.

How come every Move command here is a Capcom style command?

Shoryuken.com is the site which has actual NEO-GEO Move command smilies, while this site has none.

The lack of :kekeke: marks the true death of the Neo-Geo. :crying:

i think it would be more beneficial to have LP MP HP LK MK HK buttons than abcd.

it can get complicated when not talking about neo games...hm

i kinda miss chimp and kekeke, especially considering we still have .

replace lol with chimp or kekeke.!:envy:

I prefer the symbolic one-smilie version of the moves instead of a row of arrows, there is not enough space for huge arrow symbols like that.

However you feel personally about it does not matter, on it's actual falsity.

The move commands showcased here are not Neo-Geo. There are no Neo-Geo roots in these.

This is a bastard mix of Capcom and SNK.

PS: How many Neo-Geo fighters have a :360: command?

ok, fine, they are commands used in Capcom games too. Guess what, I'm cool with that. What matters is that these work just fine for neo geo games. And as far as I'm concerned, your objections are as worthless as any of your other opinions.

Man... talk about being anal on purpose.

"Falsity"...

It's not a personal opinion that the space for smilies on ng.com is limited, that's why we took the combined arrows to make things a little more convenient.

The "Capcom symbols" (actually there are no dedicated CAP or SNK symbols, never were, never will be) or however you call them also are way quicker to read, just check out a few threads with them and I'm sure you will agree.

come one - we both know Dark Andy doesn't play neo geo games. The guy only plays wrestling games. Why do we even read his retarded posts?! Probably because he persistently posts his drivel.

I just don't get why he opted for move arrows and now complains about them being "Capcom" symbols.

But hey... :back::downb::down::downf::forw:+:C: ... a Neo move with Capcom buttonzzzz!!!

* Capcom turns to ashes

I have no objections, I'm laughing my ass off at you lot, this is way too humorous, I don't want you to change the commands, it just adds to the stupidity of the forums.

And they are not "used in Capcom games too", IIRC Capcom STARTED those command styles.

I just don't get why he opted for move arrows and now complains about them being "Capcom" symbols.

Show me where I complain solely for them being Capcom symbols. I'll wait.

Duh moron. The "pwnage" would be at least minimal on your people's part if I actually said "Nobody in SNK uses it" I asked "HOW many use them"?

And SNK actually used 4 arrow commands instead of the 360 command, if you recall correctly. :forw:  :back:  I recall.

come one - we both know Dark Andy doesn't play neo geo games.

I've most likely played more than you.
