When did Takuma kill Jeff?

The ending to the first Aof leads me to believe Jeff is dead. Also, in AOF2 beat Geese w/ Takuma and he says Now I'll repay you for everything. Yet further along in the ending Jeff is not dead yet. I thought Yuri was kidnapped to force Takuma to kill Jeff. Does anyone know which is right?

as far as I know, geese killed Jeff by himself (even though they trained together). you can see it in FF: wild ambition .

Geese killed Jeff. But Takuma Almost defeated Geese
in the AOF story but then Geese ran away onto his helicopter.
