I had this as a very small kid and always hated it. I had no strategy. Does anyone actually like this game? Should i try it again as a supposedly smarter person and try to make it past stage 2 and see something possibly interesting?? I have no idea if this game just kind of exists or was ever considered good.
Shmup Junkie had positive things to say on his Genesis video, including calling it better than Thunder Force II and giving it an A.

Damn. Ok. Ill give it another spin. Granada X and arrow flash were 2 of my earliest games. Neither left a strong impression

This looks good. That said, the 3D looks awful, they could've really knocked this outta' the park...

Are any of these good? I just remember the rocko game being NES hard and not that great.

These releases are a bit of a mixed bag as well. They're the GOG Preservation Program versions but with DRM added. I'm not sure how much DRM can hurt games this old, but it never helps. Given these don't have things like achievements, cards, etc., it's probably better to just get them on GOG:
