If you think people who go to college are self actuallized. Its actually the quite opposite. Its usually the people that do there own thing. Live out side the rules of society and create their own path. It only works out to about 3 - 5 percent of the population. Just about everybody goes to college or university.
3 to 5 percent of the population, then add in the percentage of people who become muscular. As muscular people do so for personal reasons. Creating that paradox that you speak of. The 3-5 percent gets dwindled even further. to say maybe half a percent.
Actually even requesting such elite tendencies specifies where you are at. Its good to have high hopes, but that only repersents superiority. The stage where most people get. Not self actualization.

first, i didn't say everyone or even a lot of people who go to college are 'self actualized'. i was saying that many of the people who are self actualized go to college. second, you are dead wrong about 'everybody' going to college. the percentage of people who continue on to university or college after secondary schooling (high school) is MUCH lower than 100% or even 90% (a number perhaps closer to your 'just about everybody').wizkid007 said:

Well, I'm fairly intelligent, can cook and build very efficient firecrackers.
I'm also fairly big and can eat enormous quantities of Gelbwurst... a bit like Hugo, just less muscular and with less curly hair (but also of the longer type).
My wife is slim, with blonde hair, sweet as candy and can cook too.
So... eerm... what am I doing here again... ah yes, just wanted to say that I feel attracted to red-haired women.
See, it doesn't need an iron-hard sixpack to find a girl who will love you right as you are.

Wow. Some of you guys are pretty picky and tough.
Personality-wise, I'm far from perfect and I don't expect her to be either. Sometimes you just have to acknowledge people's imperfections and roll with them. If you have a good sense of humor, you can even make fun of them.
People always say drama is a turn off; The truth is, we all have baggage and drama. It's what we do with it (or don't do with it) that can define who we are and allow us to grow as people. It's a delicate balance. Too little of it makes life boring. Too much makes life miserable, so I kind of welcome drama as long as it's the right dosage.
One thing I've learned the hard way is that common interests alone aren't enough glue to make things stick.
