What to do in Munich during Christmas

My family has booked a 5-day vacation in Munich. Apart from visiting Marienplatz beer hall and Dachau concentration camp, I'd like to know interesting places, especially WW2 related. Also I'd like to know what to do on New Year's Eve, where do people go and where I could snatch a good fraulein to

Dachau? Holy Adonai! Fun Packed holiday you're planning then?

I hear clubbing is pretty good in Germany and I would try and see a Bayern Munich Game.

Munich is a really ritzy city, I was not a big fan of it compared to Berlin. Obviously check out a beer hall or two, and Dachau if that is your thing. If you like cars there is the BMW museum/factory, and the olympic stadium as well. There is a free tour in Munich that is really good that will show you the basic goodies of Munich.
I lived off of bread and salami the whole time I was there. Enjoy the weisbrau as it is rather unique to Munich.

Overall the place is quaint and Bavarian, but ultra touristy and expensive as hell.

Munich is nice, I was there in July 2007.

If you're into WWII, you have to visit the famous Hofbräuhaus beer hall --it's internationally famous (with branches all over the USA now), and it was one of the beer halls where Hitler gave speeches --in fact it was where, on Feb. 24, 1920, Adolf Hitler reconstituted the German Workers' Party as the National Socialist German Workers' Party (aka the Nazi Party) --so the Hofbräuhaus is the birthplace of the Nazi Party... though that doesn't appear in sales literature for some reason. Its totally tourist friendly, btw --you'd have no idea about that history if you visited. Salzburg is a short day trip away, and so is the beauty of Konigssee (but it might be too cold for that one).

The new BMW Welt is freaking ridiculous from an architectural standpoint, I wish I had time to see it. The interior is like a spaceship --and if you buy a car from the factory there it rises from the floor for you in a ceremony

There's plenty more --I'd borrow a Lonely Planet from the library and find all the other stuff --there are some beautiful cathedrals and churches.
