i saw a game on the neo-geo pocket for sale on ebay called orge battle.....and there was a game released on the gba called orge battle but before i bid i just wanted to make sure it was the same game

From what I've heard it's a very good game, HOWEVER I wouldn't recommend purchasing it unless you are fluent in Japanese.

On a side note, I noticed it's listed as "Orge" Battle in the Pocket guide as well. Maybe that could be changed as I'm not sure I want to know what an 'Orge Battle' is.

Of coorse it's a very good games! with beautifull graphics an sounds.
But the mission's are hard to understand. If somebody can make a translation <img src="graemlins/glee.gif" border="0" alt="[Glee]" />

There is a translation somewhere online. My computer's acting up so I'm on my dreamcast and therefore can't post a link, but someone else will surely know where it is. The menus are very easy to navigate once you've experimented a bit, though, and I've actually never had much trouble playing the game (you miss the plot for the most part, but the gameplay is still the same).

Isn't the GBA one Tactics Ogre? That's a port of the sequel to the original SNES Ogre Battle game. The Neo Poke game is more like the original, though it has a different story (hence: Ogre Battle Gaiden).

the ogre battle games are incredible. but there is alot of diplomacy involved. That would make a jap version incredibly hard to play.

Ogre Battle Zenobia no Ougi (prince of zenobia) takes place before march of the Black Queen. It's the back history of Tristan.

The GBA version takes place around the same time, but it's a completely different game, revolving around the backhistory of a certain villian from Lodis...

I want that faq very baaad!! (I supose you know it) It doesn't matter if it's in French, some good people will translate it to English (Well I understand a bit french, it's similar to Catalan, jeje).

if you've played any of the ogre (not orge) battle games before, you can play this one without too much difficulty. thats what i found anyway.
