Also a solid cut!

I used to listen to Man on the Silver Mountain all the time at work.
The live version on Rainbow On Stage is legit, check it out if you haven't yet.

I don't call any records "Early Dio" unless they were pressed before 1970.
Haha I got some Elf too somewhere in there, I should dig that out soon.

That's getting warmer.

I've gotta get my 45's outa storage and take some pictures. I've got 6 pre-Elf singles (some that I picked up in the wild).

Went to a new record shop tonight and was greeted with a beer. An hour and a half later I have joined a new Friday night hangout and picked up this first pressing. What an amazing album!8A13B0A3-D044-4F65-A677-EA67E1FA7B0C.jpeg

Cool thread. Finally got the baby down for her nap, and I'm chilling with some Miles in the basement.

That Nightmares on wax looks awesome. i haven’t ever heard of them. Did a quick search and it looks interesting. I went ahead and ordered a copy. Never heard them before and I haven’t listened to anything yet. I like to experience these kind of things with very little bias and it is fun to be surprised. Thanks for posting this and I will let you know what I think after it arrives.

Listened to a few albums tonight but was too tired to take pictures. Worked 31 hours the past two days. Last record for tonight. This is a great live grindcore album. I have been getting brain damge from this band for over twenty years. Pig Destroyer : Pornographers of sound. Live in NYC.B6F8CECF-A0CD-4CF3-8DAD-D61E1D82977E.jpeg

Lol I could image, I checked the prices on Discogs sheesh... I will keep an eye out for when it is available again. What is the quality of the pressing like? I’ve been underwhelmed with the quality of indie pressings in the past.

I’ll get the heads up when it’s available and will send you a text. Unfortunately they are a bit of a hyped band and therefore appeal to the flippers. But hyped for good reason, they are actually good.

Quality of the pressing is decent. 180g thick DLP, gatefold, with inner sleeves. Sounds clear on my old turntable. Hopefully the repress is of the same quality which I’m sure it will be knowing the label.
