Still not sure how I feel about this one. It’s growing on me for sure.

I have a shitty Audio Technica turntable, but it gets the job done. For now. Listening to the best live album of all time, IMO E9F763CE-73A3-4F2D-8F8C-14050E7E71FC.jpeg

That is not a shitty table. Or at least not the one I use at work (the one I use is pre-USB).

That table is easily better than 99% of the tables produced in the last 30 years.

I also like that it can play 78's/

I have the cheapest table Music Hall makes, a ghetto ass preamp, and some passive bookshelf speakers. It sounds incredible to my pleb ears.

Maybe I'll post some of my selections in here.

When posting your selections, why not post a comment related to the record? - a track that stands out to you, a memory associated with the record, the story behind getting the record, etc., anything, really. The things that tie you to the music are a lot more interesting to me than just seeing the jackets of what you're listening to.

That is exactly what I was hoping for in this thread. Inspire discussion.

I found a random small youtube channel called My Own Devices. He said this was a great demo album. I really love this album and that guy’s channel now. Awesome 1971 jazzy abstract rock. Chill as fuck bass lines, the rythm lets the notes linger. Smooth ass singer. Very cool transition from the 60’s.

How are the tapes from this set? I still have my old ones but if they made them in better quality....
Haven’t gotten a chance to compare yet. My deck is waiting to be repaired. I have a ton of demos that I don’t want to risk in another deck.

I don't call any records "Early Dio" unless they were pressed before 1970.
