stupid fucking good soundtrack to kind of a goofy/enjoyable flick.

You ever seen that video about how the album version of Purple Rain is actually a live recording, but chopped up a bit for radio play? It talks about how Prince gets into a groove and lays into a specific lick (the main one in the song, obvs) during the recording and the band just goes along with it. And evidently you can hear bits of the crowd in the album's mix too. Insane.

He's gonna say Michael Jackson
.. didn't write his own songs
.. couldn't play any instruments
.. didn't just give away songs to make other bands famous
.. couldn't dance anywhere near as good as prince

He's gonna say Michael Jackson

Man I dont know if you can even compare Prince's guitar playing to Jimi's. Jimi was great to be sure. But Prince? That dude could play like every instrument. And his shredding ability? Nah, man. Nah.

Look at how this diminutive little motherfucker just OWNS the entire set here. And catch that crowd backwards dive he does. Sumbitch was a god.

Jimi Hendrix was rock 'n' roll and Prince was just pop.
Do you both cry when you listen to When Doves Cry?

I'm worried about your record collecting Karnov. There might be a problem. Have you considered The MQA route?

Cool records though.
MQA is all hype (and not compatible with all players), it's better just to use hi-res FLAC.
