Hi, Neo-Geo fans I just want to take this time and peaceful moment to ask you neo-geo out there that what is your most remembered moment in the following game consoles. Is it Nintendo,Sega Genesis,Snes or Neo-Geo Aes System. Which of these systems has the most positive impact on your life and changes you forever!

My most remembered moment is during the start of winter in 1992, the time when Snes reign supreme. :crying:

Well Neos fans let hear about yours. Thanks.

NES: When I got my system and first played Mario Bros.

Sega Genesis: It's a tie between playing Gunstar Heroes or getting my first taste of RPGs. Phantasy Star 3 and Sword of Vermillion to be exact.

SNES: Seeing Zelda: LttP and SF2 for the first time. I was playing SF2 in the arcade back then, but being able to play it at home was the greatest, even if it was a pretty bad port.

Neo-Geo MVS: Playing Samurai Shodown for the first time at the bowling alley. I probably dumped 10 dollars into the machine that day, and my mom bitched me out. :)

it's either the neo-geo's fighters era (with SS 1&2, WH2, AOF2 and KOF 94/95) or the SNES RPGs era.

both were the best gaming periods in my whole life. if I had a time machine, 1993 is the year which I would return to. the atmosphere, the music, cartoons, TV series', movies, the games ..... even summer holidays felt longer those days.

I remember waking up every morning, making a bowl of corn flakes with milk and playing either SS1 or AOF2 with my older bro. never got bored. day and night.

and uh ..... Secret of Mana. FF3 and Chrono Trigger, with Michael Jackson's HIStory ..... :crying:

Lufia 2, Zelda 3, Mario RPG, Secret of Everymore ....... etc. etc. :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying:

edit: the earlier and later periods were fun too. I had great time with the older systems like the MSX, Famicom, Genesis ... etc. the PS1 and the Saturn era were great too. hell, even today, I'm still enjoying games (both old and new). I'm sure in few years time, I'll remember the recent days as a wonderful times. but that particular period (early 90's) was very special/dear to me. dunno why.

My most remembered "NEO:GEO Moment" was at the Padre Staples Mall in Corpus Christi on June 15th 1990 when I watched the NAM-1975 intro and watched the dood screaming shooting his M-60 as that image zoomed out and the title screen with a shadowy G.I. resting his head on an M-16 slammed into place. That was freckin' awesome! I then proceeded to waste $7.00USD on the game before I had to leave.

My most remembered "Mega Drive Moment" was saying: "Fuck me running!" when I first played Gunstar Heroes and had to bow faithfully to the awesomeness of TREASURE.

Most remembered moment on the SNES had to be with LOZ: LTTP. They game drew me in like no other .... well, until Super Metroid came along that is.

Most remembered moments with the Neo was in the 'cades, playing Sam Sho IV with my friends and a couple of the guys that worked there. Old Galford delivered some serious inferiority complexes over that year and a half or so. :buttrock:

Most remembered moment on the NES was probably when I first fired it up - it was so far beyond the Atari that it wasn't even funny. I just couldn't actually believe that the thing was in my house. Another most memorable moment, albeit less favorable, was when I finally beat Ghosts 'N Ghoblins, only to find out that you didn't really when if you didn't kill the devil with the shield cross thingies. :crying:

And of course beating Legend of Zelda for the first time just flat out rocked - it had a pretty decent ending for back then I thought. Man was I ever sweatin' when I finally made it to Ganon's room. Great stuff. Oh, and when I beat Castlevania that was pretty fekkin' sweet - that was a pretty rough game from what I recall.

Hmm hmm :)
on the NES it was when i unpacked it for my birthday, it was the full pack with the robot and the gun... dang i played duck hunt more than mario imo :)

on the GENESIS it was when i fired land stalker... so lame controlling wise (no shadows made the jumps random... you couldnt appreciate the position of platforms in air) but it was fantastic in every other department

on the SNES it was when i started Tales of Phantasia... uwa~~~ :)

on AES it was when i bought and first played Last Resort, expensive but that was simply the best shooter ever made. I really had my spinnal shaking when carrying the big box from shop to my home.

good all days... i miss that time when i had actually time to play... :(

Neo-Geo - When Shin Samurai Spirits was released. I bought a Neo-Geo AES mainly because of Samurai Spirits, and when the sequel was released, I was simply amazed... especially by it's special dedicated cabinet. I will never forget that "We are not worthy" ad either.

Super Famicom - Super Metroid was amazing, Super Donkey Kong was very stunning when it was released, and when Killer Instinct was announced for Sufami... what a moment. Oh, and StarFox and the SuperFX chip.

MegaDrive - When the MegaCD was announced.

Magic Moments

NeoGeo: when I first saw in the arcades Magicia Lord, and then Garou Densetsu 2, and Shin Samurai Spirits. When I had Garou Densetsu Special RGB-running on my 14'' at home.

MegaDrive: when I first saw it with Altared Beast. When I got it with Daimakaimura. When I saw Sonic1. When I saw Sonic2 and Bare Knuckle2.

SuperFamicom: when I saw it and got with SuperMarioWorld. When I got Chomakaimura, Akudoraku, Actraiser. When I got Chrono Trigger.

Saturn: when I saw it with Clockwork Night. When I played Nights and Burning Rangers.
