I got this error:

DISC I/O ERROR
( ID = 0002 )
PLEASE POWER OFF

I tried serveral CD's and they now all give this error. Some after playing the game for about 10 minutes. I hear the CD go like: ''klick'' ''klick'' ''klick'' then the error appears. Any1 know what the problem is??

Double scenario.
Either the cds are damaged big time.
Or you are useing CDR's.

The best thing to do is try as many CD's as you got, if all fails, your CD system is failing, it can be repaired and is not as hard as people make it out to be. I think I saw a repair kit in the neo store.

The clicking is a indication something is wrong with your system I believe.

I don't think it are burnt CD's. The CD's have a black Neo Geo logo with title on top, bottom is silver. CD cases are with a neo geo logo in the upper right.

hmmm, I never actually did this technical stuff, opening consoles etc. But I can try... Thanks for the help.

I had a similiar problem with my old single-speed Neo CD system. The 'clicking' you're hearing is your CD-Rom drive.

Problem:
The read light is bad and it needs to be replaced. You can purchase a repair kit from this very board by visiting neostore.com .

Woot, I opened the machine today. I didn't see much, but removed some dust and then closed it again. And suddenly it worked!

I dunno how, I didn't change much. It doesn't matter anyways, its fixed! <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">
