What happened to rimm_rs's SSVS preorder thread?!?

My girlfriend just called and said that a game I ordered from Ryan 2 days ago just came in this afternoon... wish I were not on the road. I'm dying for some Ninja Masters! Thankfully the weekend will be a long one! Since she told he that, I wanted to further expand on Abasuto's question. Ryan is a great seller; one of the very best I have dealt with. Depending upon your viewpoint, he may be or may not play nice with his competition, but he always takes care of his customers from what I have seen from others. My personal buying experiences have been awesome so I am happy. When you find someone who watches out for your needs so well, it makes it much easier to buy stuff from them IMHO.

Yes, Ryan answer all e-mail fast and his service is just SUPER. He doen't sh!t around....

I've not been posting for a while and only dropping by for a little bit now and then... i want the hour of my life back i spent reading this.


I can see that Ryan had good intentions and I can also see that shawn was not being evil either. this whole situation did not need to happen they both should have just worked this out.


I don't like that there is so much character assignation going on here.


Ryan is really a good guy. Like a ton of people here i buy and have traded from him, and his e-mails and way of doing things are very friendly. I find it hard to believe that he is so evil because of all of the good things others (myself included) have to say.

I do agree with Amano Jaco, for those of us outside of the U.S. the duty fees are a bitch, and saving money is always a bonus, but that did not stop me from buy from Shawn’s store.

I joined for the Neo, and stayed for the drama, but the whole reason I ended up making a purchase from the store is because of the amazing feedback I got from everybody here. If I was being a shmuck and Shawn banned me, I would still buy from the neo-store, because I know first hand that Shawn is an up-standing seller.

From this forum, I have also learned that Ryan, in person is a nice guy, but I have seen first hand that in business he started off on the wrong foot, and behaved in a very shady way (his news letter is the only spam in my inbox, I created this email account just for this forum).

I will never buy from Ryan’s “store”, ever.

I have been here a while, and I like it here, despite Beefjerky’s pulsating….er…ah….gnome hat.

My loyalty lies with Shawn and his forum.

I doubt it's true though cause i get no freakin other spam from game sites period other then what i signed up for.

I also doubt it is true. The ONLY spam I have received at the e-mail I am using is from that fucktard Ryan.

why does shawn offer a bulk pre-order system if hes not willing to go through it

i was one of those members who got a slug 5 from Ryan and it cost me $299 plus postage and paypal fees

ryan doesnt need to make a good name for himself - he has already achieved this

i was already on his mailing list and i didnt get any spam

at the end of the day shawn should set a bar of 6 items and no more to pre-order, he might not make as much money selling a huge amount to one person with discounts but at least hes not left with huge amounts of stock old for almost 3 years (sengoku 3)

and even then its price was only $185 originally it was $299, so he has made a bigger loss holding onto it for so long

i reckon at the most Ryan should have been put on vacation for using this site to maybe benefit his own - banning seems extreme

Shawn himself is kinda the master when it comes to neo AES stuff but banning a small rival seems harsh - do we see the makings of bill gates #2
