That was one of the most thourough and well thought out posts that i have read on this forum.....to bad you have no idea what the hell you are talking about..

Funny, I was thinking the same thing about you (only without the thorough and well thought out part).

Aren't you busy playing sycophant to whatever seller has a boot to lick?

Seriously, you're a one trick pony: you're willing to suck up to anybody who's willing to sell you a game regardless of reputation. Thankfully that trend has been well documented in these forums over the years. Do you honestly think your opinion has any weight when your well-built reputation precedes you?

I don't think anyone who's been on this website for long could not notice. Yet again, here you are matching the pattern once again.

As I recall, the MS5 preorder deal got stopped prematurely and he was only allowed to buy for those of us who had already signed on. I left with the impression that it had something to do with what's being talked about here... Not sure if you knew this or not..

This is just a little cleanup
Well my impression was that it was a CUT OFF to how many were allowed to participate. The end result was that the pre-order was allowed to take place
and then I was left with the impression that ALL WAS OKAY. You see how we can form different impressions when information is not presented to us in BLACK AND WHITE?
A formal announcement should have been made, the guidelines should have been changed, etc.
I keep reading where people state that Ryan was undercutting Shawn but this is not the case. Ryan did'nt resell the Metal Slug 5's,let's get this straight, the only benefit to him was that he received a discount for the # of copies he purchased.
His actions to me were that of a person with ambition, not malice.
He's been banned for whatever reason and I never had a problem with that strong possibility. What happens behind the scenes, should stay behind the scenes though and not spill out into the open when it's convenient is all I'm stating.
People can choose sides but once again this is two way street of blame.

I created a new e-mail account specifically for registering for this site.

I have never used that account for anything else.

But I still got the japangamesnow spam.

umm.

well.....

I sold your email address for $5 along with Jakes to google....sorry :p

Actually for an OT post. As posted in the email my name was listed on the MS5 preorder (hopefully it will not be harvested in some other email address, i get Enough How much for this emails). Before I did this I emailed Shawn with my surprise he was allowing this and he should list for resellers only, I forget if he responded back but he went ahead and allowed it to occur. Personally I really was not so much for the savings. I am kind of weird in a way, liking to point out weaknesses in things. Part of my real job. Anyway, If at that time he would have said "Hey I need the money", or "Yeah, I know I'm going to make that change please do not order from him" I would have placed a order through the Neo Store. And maybe he was a little pissed at me for doing the MS5 preorder through ryan as well. Shawn also seems to hold grudges. But it runs both ways really I was a little pissed at the Whole classic insert thing. But that is another story.

Anyway, I do remember the post made by Shawn awhile back "that the Neo Forums and the Neo Store are seperate" So I guess that has changed now. Personally I have not preordered SSVS yet. But this time I did not sign up for Ryans Order either. I actually shun the use of credit cards for only Dire emergencys and spent a little to much money at A-kon this year. So unfortunitly I have to wait until the 15th. However I have order every new release (except ms5) from here directly and then some ;) Just my thoughts not really placing any blame on anyone. felt I should add to the spam count not that anyone will read this anyway

I think doing these "group preorders" makes sense for international people to save on shipping costs. Like some people in the UK, or in Spain (as a friend of mine does, I got a ROTD MVS kit this way) do. Anyway Shawn should only offer a discount up to 6 pieces, and if you want more then you need to pay in advance like all resellers do.

Perhaps Shawn could post something, maybe reiterating the ground rules concerning bulk preorders.

I mean we still have SSVS to contend with, and future Atomiswave carts too.

If Shawn posts a response I demand to know which breed of alien kidnapped Shawn and took over his body and mind.

He tried to bash Ryan for suppossedly being a neo business wannabe but when I presented the fact that ryan has done much more in this industry than most his adge he COMPLETELY dodges the question.

Ryan is a Neo-Store wannabe. Why else the need to visit Shawn's neo-store in person? You know very well it was to see firsthand how Shawn handles his business. Shortly afterwards JGN launched. Do honestly expect us to believe Ryan drove 3 hours to pickup the MS5 shipment just to save on shipping? And that at the time of visiting Shawn, he didn't have the intent or idea of opening up his competing neo-store? Rimm_rs in his own posts puts himself in the same sentence as Shawn and Vinh as if he's their colleague. Perhaps he is. I happen to think he's just a leech. We'll see how JGN fares over the long haul. Rimm_rs might have other sources for neo games, but you're kidding yourself if you don't think he gets alot of it from here. If not, then why did I receive cash offers via pm from Ryan within minutes of posting MoTW and KoF98 recently? You make me laugh out loud young man.

Oh no, don't you pussy out now. take it like a man and repeat this slowly "I know nothing about the topic at hand". so you were proved wrong, get over it, it's not the end of the world.

You proved me wrong? How so? Ryan needs this site, otherwise why else beg and carry on for as many posts as he did? Don't tell me its because he's going to miss your company Orpheus or your insightful posts. Don't worry though, I'm sure Ryan will be lurking here under some fake handle in no time.

You and your son have no relevence to this what so ever. anyone can knock a girl up

Thats true that anyone can father a child. But it takes a man to raise his kids. This certainly has relevance when it comes to dumbass questions like you asked "what have you done with your life" Which certainly begs to have you answer that question yourself. Oh yes you had your picture taken with Dion  . Maybe thats what's wrong with society, that young people are impressed far too easily on things that really aren't worth looking up to, and take for granted things and everyday accomplishments that are truly worthy of admiration.

You tried to show that Ryan was a wannabe, trying to act like shwan and vinh, like this store was all he had. I simply proved that statement wrong by showing you and further reminding others that ryan has done more in this industry than both Shawn and Vinh combined, all at a very young age.

Again, I can't express just how impressed I am Rimm_rs once had his own gaming publication. That is certainly a mighty life accomplishment. And launching JGN to boot? At this rate certainly Ryan will one day win a nobel prize for his contributions to videogaming. The only thing funnier that Rimm_rs getting banned is the Rimm_rs fan club president (Orpheus) that he left behind.

Lets just say that these are worthy accomplishments, deserving of admiration.
Accomplishments thankfully are not the sole criteria when it comes down to judging whether a person is cool or worth looking up to. The respect a person extends to others and whether they are genuine and possess good integrity are much bigger factors, at least in my book.

Both you, Orpheus and Rimm_rs are big failures in this department.

Why do I get the feeling that the people bashing Ryan's selling ethics on this thread are gonna turn around and continue to order from him ?

The same people that bashed HK_cywong and turned around and put a bid on his systems, controllers, and games. Go figure. Ethics and money dont go hand and hand. If its cheeper somewhere else, its easier to go there regardless of what your ethics are. No one will admit to it. Good point you brought up though.

Yep, people want to spend the least possible, simple as that. I'll admit I'm still gonna order from Ryan, he's always done me very good. But, that doesn't mean I'm only gonna order from him. The neo-store has some great deals on it as well, like the new copies of magicain lord, super spy, ninja combat, blue's journey, nam-75., all for under 40 bucks each. I'm gonna hit up several of those with my next paycheck for sure. :)

My girlfriend just called and said that a game I ordered from Ryan 2 days ago just came in this afternoon... wish I were not on the road. I'm dying for some Ninja Masters! Thankfully the weekend will be a long one! Since she told he that, I wanted to further expand on Abasuto's question. Ryan is a great seller; one of the very best I have dealt with. Depending upon your viewpoint, he may be or may not play nice with his competition, but he always takes care of his customers from what I have seen from others. My personal buying experiences have been awesome so I am happy. When you find someone who watches out for your needs so well, it makes it much easier to buy stuff from them IMHO.
