What does this chip do?

I took apart my AES last night to do my stereo mod and I was disturbed to see this chip cracked, bent and 3 pins not even in the board anymore! The system works fine though! Anyone know what this chip does? I hope the pic comes out...

Maybe it's some part of the amp for the headphone jack. Have you tried to connect a headphone?

Now that is a very good idea! I only get left side sounds through the headphone jack, I just figured it was cause the jack was worn. But the volume slider still works... Hmm, must be the amp for the right stereo side???
