I just beat Master Ninja difficulty in NINJA GAIDEN II (the one on xbox 360, not NES) after some serious struggle and it got me wondering: what are your guys' greatest feats of gaming excellence?

For me, the aforementioned Master Ninja run is up there, no death Metal Slug 3 run, Dark Souls 1 and 3, Batman NES, all missions in Outrun 2.

I got head while playing street fighter zero 3 on Saturn when i was 22. This is an accomplishment because I took the game system to the girl’s house, set it up, got head (made it to like stage 5 with Sakura) then finally abandoned the game to do stuff. Came back to the game later. I also beat Burning rangers naked at my own house while waiting on a different girl to show up to fuck me. I told her I was doing this and she still showed up and fucked me no questions asked. I was elated to have first time finished BR. She just wanted the 21 year old D. Oh to be young drunk and not give a fuck (nothing has changed)

I once dressed up as a girl, went round this guy's house and fucked him while he played burning rangers. He was pretty trash so I finished the game for him.

I gave a girl at uni my old copy of Pokemon Red and then a few months later she gave me a head after she dumped her boyfriend.

Edit - not really a gaming achievement is it? I basically paid for oral secks in advance with a Gameboy cartridge

These days, if I take the time to actually beat a game, it's an accomplishment. lol

How many of us here ever had a crowd of people watch them play at the arcade? Felt good didn't it.
Some fighting game stuff in the 90's, sure. The largest crowd I ever drew (consistently) is DDR. I was (and still am, actually) quite good at freestyle play on Expert. 🕺

Depends how many times you'd played it. At the corner shop near us they had an arcade cabinet, just the one, so there was always a crowd and if it was your first few plays it could be pretty humiliating. I remember getting fucked up by the very first motorbike on RoboCop and everyone taking the piss mercilessly :(

I placed in the first few seasons of WoW Arena for each bracket, 2v2, 3v3, 5v5.
Probably the only thing where statistics put me in the top against other gamers.

Regular occasion for me at Alladin's Castle when I played Dragon's Lair. I could clear the game without losing a life at one point. They put a second monitor on top of it so people could watch.

At one point I was doing it just so other people could see the whole game.

Not at all an accomplishment but it was nice to share that with a crowd.

My greatest accomplishment in gaming:

Learning how not to give a fuck about my skill level in video games.

When I was about 13, my friend and I decided to spend our last quarter each to play tag team WWF WrestleFest before we went home.

We played against a couple dudes who had to be 20s... they kept quarter feeding to regain energy BUT WE WON.

It was amazing.

As awesome as it was, I don't remember what the tag teams were.

I only remember the other side had Hulk Hogan, and I was Jake the Snake

My mains were
Jake the Snake
Mr Perfect
Million Dollar Man

At the height of my game, my Wonderboy playing usually attracted a small crowd of onlookers. I could reach area 3 without dying, specially the first area was a piece of cake and I whizzed through it while chatting with people, that was cool.

I also loved to play Karate Champ and was quite good at it. There was a cab in the foyer of a movie theatre I used to go to, the cab had an extra monitor on top for people to watch and basically everyone who knew how to do other moves than just the basics got a crowd around him after a while. The game was seen as very complicated with its two-stick controls, it was a rare thing to meet someone who was willing to play the game with me, most guys were reluctant coz they didn't want to look stupid in front of the people watching but I never cared for that sorta thing.

A friend of mine and I would always play Ultimate Warrior (who was a beast in that game) and Jake the Snake Roberts (because the DDT was my favorite finisher at the time).

We gave ourselves the tag team name 'The Trust Fund' because at that time Jake would always say 'Trust me' in his promos.

I would always get greedy and try to do more finishers than I needed to. Then Sgt. Slaughter would do the Atomic Noogie and I'd lose the match.

We still did pretty good, though.

The first two that stand out for me is beating Shatterhand and Ghost N' Goblins. I can smash up most classic Mega Man games, but I have MM2 so memorized that I've beaten it when it glitched out once in the first stage and the graphics were just heavily distorted globs, blocks, and other sprite trash. It's the most impressed I've ever been of myself lmao.
