Keep trying Bourbons and American Whiskies and usually disappointed. Probably should’ve just got an Ardbeg or Oban or something. Other than Basil Hayden and Wild Turkey 101/rare breed none of them have been memorable at all really. For the price I just don’t see it stacking up to scotch. I wonder if its just what I can get here in Washington.

It's good, perfect for the season. Reminds me of what they'd have this time of year on the cocktail menu at a fancy restaurant.

I'm surprised it's sweet enough without any syrup or sugar. The store brand Total Wine King's Creek whiskey cider I'm using is low proof and super sweet.

Not yet. The single barrel Jack is probably the best "bourbon" I bought so far. Became a Scotch guy from the first bottle of Johnny Walker Black.
