If youre talking about the mc cthulhu, you still need to solder the rj45. I'm not sure about any other mc pcbs.

Yeah the Cthulhu is the only one if you need dat legacy support. The solder-free PS360 supports all of the same consoles except the Gamecube and the PCE I believe, which I don't think are dealbreakers for anyone.

I got the $40 Hori PS3/PS4 mini stick, its small though I think its too small personally. I hope they come out with something in between. (Like the Horii sticks they made for the Wii).

Yep, I looked at reviews of that stick, far too small for me.

the MC Cthulhu also works with the 3DO as only controller...
you could still do padhacks for the 3 consoles not supported by the PS360+ - not having to pad hack the 360 controller is a big plus imo.
I guess you can use the PS360+ with all those crazy brooks adapters, right? Super win then.

Not so much PCE but no GCN support is a definite deal breaker for me.

The Wii and GCN has way too many great games to not have a stick for it.

Installed the new Brook Universal Fighting Board into my old PS3 SFIV TE1. Install wasnt bad, but I did have to do some soldering. Mainly I spliced the usb harness into a plug and I soldered some lines from the turbo board for power, ground, turbo button (i used this button for the trackpad), and home button. Fits in the case fine. Tested on Xbox One, PS4 and PC and everything works. There was a driver issue in windows 10, it was using the wrong driver, xbox 360 instead of xbox one. Pretty awesome board!!

Not that I have seen. I heard a Ps update broke it on one of their other adapters but it was fixed within 24 hours by brook.

How is that even possible. You press in the two tabs and push up. It's not rocket science.

Thats what i did! But when pressing the two taps one broke. ... that happened 5 times! I could only remove 3 savely.
Honestly no idea how that happened.

The really sad part. I dont really like that silent thing, but I am too scared to replace it again.

You barely have to press them in. Don't go crazy and they should pop out fine.

I think they somehow got stucked in the alluminium plate of the te2. Actually it was very hard to press the tabs.

you must be talking about the snap ins. I always stick to screw type because they are more versatile. The nuts for seimitsu are better because they are thinner and easier to install.

Probably nearly all of them over the years & recently let an Xbox Tournament stick go along with the console..

But over 15 years ago i had a Neo geo Hori fighting stick...(could be longer..i'm not sure)...& today just bought & paid for another one!!..on its way from Japan!!.
Will be great with my Omega Cmvs system when it arrives.

Regular Sanwas are pretty durable. Clear Sanwas are super brittle though.

My sticks:

Xbox 360- Hori VX, stock (decent) and HRAP EX, with added Sanwa buttons (pretty good)
PS3- Madcatz SFIV fightstick with purple Sanwa buttons and vinyl cover (pretty good- bought modded) and HRAP V3-SA (great)

I'm not a stick expert by any means, but I can tell my shmups scores have gotten better with better sticks and buttons.

Does anyone own the Tekken VI wireless arcade stick for the PS3 or 360? I need a wireless stick, but I know that they're often known for having lag issues. This one is made by Hori and it's under $100 so it caught my interest. It looks like this.

Yes to this, I did it to my Tekken 5 PS2 stick and it's the best move I ever made, Bluetooth, 1st party, completely backwards compatible and it's rechargeable.

Those things are BEASTS. Very comfortable and no lag.

Only drawback is its difficult finding a six axis with a decent battery anymore, so figure the cost of a new one of those into the equation too.

I've never built an arcade stick before, but this sounds interesting. Is it just easier with a sixaxis, or could I do it with a dual shock 3? I've got an extra one of those with a janky left thumb stick that I wouldn't mind canibalizing.
