I've been playing:
Neo CD
Samsho 3
Xbox
OutRun2
PS2
Namco Museum: 50th Anniversary Arcade Collection
borrowed it from a friend for a test-run. Well, the DVD contains a selection of Namco arcade games which already were part of the PSX Namco Museum series, with a few changes here and there. This sounds nice at first if you always wanted to have them all on one disc, but since the new PS2 collection has neither Tate mode nor digital stick support, you're limited to play scaled-down versions with the analogue stick. Presentation is weak with jerky scrolling in the game select menu, there also is way less game background info than before.
In short, if you already have some of the original Namco Museum discs for PSX, spare yourself the bucks for this one.... next week I'll give namCollection (Ridge Racer and other PSX ports) a try, hope that it's not as half-assed as the 50th Anniversary release...
