Greetings,
Here are the options for April SotM. I'm trying to get away from mainstream titles ---- and titles that feature heavy scoring.
Here are the options for April:
Dangun Feveron (Fever SOS): This game features more than enough variety. In addition to an expertly done disco theme - gameplay is tailored to each individual player. You pick your ship speed, you pick your weapons. Scoring is a capture and build system.
DoDonPachi II: Bee Storm: As most know, this is not in fact a CAVE shooter. It was developed on the PGM / IGS hardware and published by Capcom. Gameplay is similar with chaining and bee collection - but the sprites are quite different than CAVE - things are just...bigger.
Captain Tomaday: This Neo Geo title is oft overlooked - perhaps due to its "cutesy" appearances. Don't let that fool you - this game is tough and features an options system similar to the Twinbee and Parodius series...which lends itself to many scoring intracacies.
Vote. Be heard. Shoot stuff.
