I share the same sentiment, except that I'm expecting it to be just an event or something. Getting a VF5FS port would be good enough for at this point.

It's a reboot with essentially the same roster as VF2. The esports aspect will come from it's integration with FOG. PS5/Xbox/PC/Arcade same day release.

Fuck, I needed some good news today. Hopefully the netcode won't be shit - VF5 is too precise of a game to deal with what I've come to expect from modern AAA fighting game netcode (read: shit). Going to be cautiously optimistic and wait for some community reports once the game drops next Tuesday to make my purchase decision. If it has decent netcode, though, I'll happily loose all my free time to this game all over again.

You mean his actual model? Agreed, he looks weird in this new engine; which is a shame because he's my main. 😤 Everyone else from the trailer looks the part, just with a few more polygons.
