I just want to tell everyone, my whole life, even when I was a little retard in third grade, I have steered clear from people who wear Looney Tunes apparel.

So, I guess what I'm saying is, I know who Pepé Le Pew is, but if you like him enough to put him as your profile picture, I just don't trust you like that. I don't trust you like that.

Thank you for listening but you are a guy who wears Looney Tunes in public. I can't do that.
please start drinking again

Porting a fighter to Neo, let alone creating a completely new one from scratch, is always risky. There are tons of them but I would say that engine-wise, 90% of them aren't even up-to-par with the lesser Neo deities like, say, Fighter's History Dynamite, Savage Reign, Gowcaizer, Double Dragon, etc., and comparisons become very ridiculous if the big ones get thrown in there, the Samshos, KoFs and LBs, &c. That's not to say the new breed of dev'ers can't do fighters anymore, it's just more complex and needs way more experience than some may think.

So... as a proof of concept? Sure, go ahead. As a serious or even semi-serious release? I would say save the labour for something new, as in not a port, conversion or adaption but a cool new title. Doesn't have to be an expensive cart release, there's always CD and romz. Let's do something different for a change.

I don’t think they’re trying to top king of fighters 98 lol
They’re doing that dumb game because it’s fun to them, it’s a bit entitled to suggest doing something else with their effort instead.

Fair enough.

Wasn't meant to sound entitled, on the contrary, but eh.

No offense taken, and no offense meant... but indeed, none of what you wrote makes sense Tak :keke:
Of course, this game was chosen for the very special quality of the source material, and we're seeing to it that we add all the features that the people who have played our games have come to like or loathe. Overall, I think you'll find it "different" enough from usual game releases.:drool_2:

These guys also did Street Fighter

and Windjampong

🤌
True story, I had ALL their games...registered...I paid them money for these. I still have my Timeslaughter copy protection thingy. The programmer was also the one who created that early NES emulator. Nesticle I think?

They later did a CD version of Timeslaughter with like a punk rock soundtrack or something.
