I ordered like $160 worth of shit from these guys on July 9th. I was told it'd probly be about a week or two (at the time) until they were able to ship because "Sanwa was taking forever". Funny thing is I've been part of a very large group order and Sanwa got all our shit out within like 2 business days. I've also seen Akihabara fulfill at least 2 orders with no delay from Sanwa within that timeframe, so I can only assume he's blowing smoke out of his asshole.

So fast forward it's now August 23rd, still nothing, I sent an e-mail on the 21st that's not yet been responded to. I have a sneaking suspicion that they've been fulfilling smaller orders here and there rather than going in line and getting mine over and done with (I ordered my shit before their prices went up). Anybody here order any sticks or 30mm buttons between July 9th and now, or know of somebody that did, and has received their shit already? I think he's just tryin to wait me out until I cancel my order, but then again maybe they really are slow as all fucking hell, I don't know.

They really are that slow. When I preordered 2 HRAP2's, waited 1+ month for it to be in stock, and after that it took another 1-2 weeks for them to email me the grand total. They overcharged me 10 bucks, took me 2 weeks to get that back.

I ordered Sanwa parts from them in the past, when the sticks were only $12. The entire deal took about a month and 1/2. I asked for a refund after a month, and he gave me the same speech about waiting on Sanwa. He basically begged me to be patient, and it took two weeks after that to get my parts.

If you want a larger selection, look up member Ponyboy over at the Arcadecontrol.com forums as well. He will take 1-2 weeks, but it's better than 1 month.

One more thing I wanted to add. They both sell their Sanwa sticks with metal plate and wire harness, with no extra charge.

It's creepin up on 2 months for me. I asked for a refund and he e-mailed me with some lame ass excuse "Oh you mean you haven't gotten the buttons yet? I mailed them last week." But wouldn't provide me with a UPS tracking #.

VGO sucks at customer service. I ordered from them once and it took forever. I would never buy anything from them again. It's like 2 or 3 idiots who can't keep things straight. They never seem to send tracking numbers even though they promise to. People have to chase them down and request updates 2 or more times before anything happens.

There are some good people on BYOAC like ponyboy or richardp. They both stock their parts. I had some trouble with pony when he first started getting Sanwa parts but after that he is very prompt. richardp ships out hella quick and I get my stuff usually withint 3 business days. That's from Cali to Maryland.

But the place order most and consider the one-stop shop for everything Japanese is Akihabarashop.com The prices are a lot higher for JLF but the other prices are as good or lower. The only things that might hurt you are if you order in smaller quantities because of the shipping and handling fees. Aside from himura (who is sometimes good, sometimes bad) there is no other great source for Seimitsu parts. Additionally, he does special orders.

In the end, if you're only looking for common parts like JLF and OBSF/OBSN, you will find better deals with pony or richardp but that's all they have. Anything else you'll have to order elsewhere like akihabarashop.

Hey Guys, its CuellarEX over at SRK. I know all of your frustrations with your orders. Those fools that were running the show before, going to peace out tomorrow. Afterwards, I'm gonna take reign of shipping and get everything straighten out. I know some shit have been sitting on their desk for sometime and I'm hoping to use this whole week to correct all the problems. But please, if you guys do have an issue or any freakin concerns, call my ass. 6193426511. I have no qualms in trying to get all issues taken care of over the phone. Grants, in the past the serviced sucked ass and there sometimes, that shit just gets messed up over transit. Hell, Sanwa has done that to us couple times. Again, I'm willing to do whatever it takes to get everyone satsified to best of my ability whether you're willing to believe it or not. So take it from there and see what happens.

Well I finally got my money back thanks to the new guy, 2.5 months later. Maybe with him runnin the show it'll actually be worth a shit to consider an order from VGO again. Anyway thanks for the refund, and Harry Chang, eat a fucking dick.
