I had play-asia change my order to the Hori FS3, and it shipped today.

I can't wait to get this game/get the controller. I ordered I'm waiting for the US game, but I ordered the HRAP3 from arcadeshock. I'm a bit confused... I bought it there becaues the price was great, but he said "nobody's got these yet". Everyone's got these! lol. I just hope he gets them soon, I'd hate to play the game without the stick.

I freakin love Quest Mode. It is really well done. As close to playing in the arcade as you will get without actually going to an arcade...
Last night a 9th dan Wolf challenged me and beat me, which was kinda frustrating, so I challenged back, and again, and maybe again. Then I finally beat him, and he then challenged back two more times! After beating him three times in succession he gave up
Arcade mode isn't so hot in comparison. The last boss is pretty cheap too. Is it always Akira, or is that just when you use Lau? I hate Akira. Has to be the most tedious fighting game character ever made. Tedious Japanese guy that does karate in a dougi. Wow. The CPU is pretty sly: constantly twitching high/low when you get up so it can auto-block any attack you throw out, and always magically ducking any of your throws whenever it isn't already committed to another move.
For VF6, I hope they ditch some of the lame original characters like Akira and Sarah. Anyone that came in from VF2 onwards can stay.

i heard it was going to have a special asian agent in it but seeing as the u.s version already has a japanese looking guy...

Yeah Quest mode is lotsa fun. I'm 5th dan with my Jeffry and 2nd dan with Akira.
Man Akira is definitely something if you get to know him.

I'm still working on mine and I just reached the Gladiator rank today.
I have to admit that I'm getting rather tired of playing this game. Winning the tourneys is fun but somethings are kinda annoying. I fought the same Warrior Akira 6 TIMES! He kept on challenging me. It's was mostly annoying because I wasn't getting any experience or anything. I really hate having to quit fights but it seems there's no way to quit except by pressing start and exiting. Luckily after I beat him the 6th time I got a a chance to quit via a tourney invite.
I bought a 19000 shirt for my B costume and shut it down. Maybe i'll try another character but it all seems so pointless. Fight, get more stuff for my characters...for what? Noone will ever see my customizations. It'd be different it we could exchange ghost data or something but...whatever..
Oh yeah, beware of Dural on arcade hard difficulty. All she needs is one hit and she doesn't juggle well (too heavy)
