USB converter for DC arcade stick?

In my haste I bought a USB triolinker adapter from lik-sang linky link , without reading the reviews at the bottom stating that it does not work with the dreamcast arcade stick! The only reason I bought the damn thing!!!
Now I e-mailed the company asking why and if there would be a driver update to fix this, their reply was simply that the dreamcast arcade stick doesnt support USB 3.0 ?
Now this sounds like crap to me.
I want to use my DC arcade stick with a USB converter to hook up to my computer, (but not replace the arcade sticks cord with a USB one!)There must be a way, to build a converter!?
Any tech-wizards here who can help out?

i bought the same one!!!!!
but when i bought it it said it worked with "every" dc controller.
man i was so mad when i got it all the way from hong kong and at first i thought it was broken!
i dont know why it wont regitser?

usb 3.0? hmmm, maybe its just how the stick is wired, ive looked for a adapter for my neo sticks for my pc, but no prevail.

Aaargh... I was thinking of getting one of those at first but they where 5$ moore! crap crap and doublecrap!

Be careful, I have that Magic Box adapter for Xbox and the DC stick works with it, but it doesn't recognize the C & Z buttons. Only A,B,X,Y and start work. This is because regular DC pads don't have C and Z buttons, but L and R triggers.

If you want to use all 6 buttons, you should mod the DC stick so that it works in a supergun (or neo geo), and then construct and adaptor from supergun to USB.

Amano - do you have the grey one or ther black one ? I had 2 grey ones that wouldnt work with DC sticks - the black ones work %100 fine

Mr-Megalo I guess you are sure cause you have one, but I e-mailed lik-sang and they said that only 4 buttons work? This is the black one you are talking about right?

I guess the link you sent has the store actually saying that all six buttons now work but their adapter costs more than lik-sang. If its the same I would rather buy from lik-sang?!

yea man, I have 2 of the Black 3 in 1 magic box's - aslong as you make sure they are the black ones they should work
