I lived in New York from February 1998-August 1998.

And as great as that city is I still prefer London and Oxford where I was born and the new Asian super cities like Kuala Lumpur,,Dubai and Doha are much better places to live as well. Zero tax for expats in Dubai.

Another day, another big drop for the US dollar.

Because of the delay of the stats to record US treasury sales, it will be interesting to see if China, Japan, etc. are really liquidating their US dollar assets or if this is just rampant speculation by currency traders.

It now takes almost 1.10 US to buy one canadian dollar. That's a huge change since the start of this thread only a few months ago.

Its depressing watching the morning news and see oil prices rising near the $100 a barrel mark, while the dollar continues to plummet. Another day indeed.
