Unoffical Hyper 64 Price guide (in gathering stages)

Shouldn't be too hard to set up due to lack of games on the system, anyone got a good idea of what the prices of the games on the system are? I would love to do it but haven't been in the scene long enough, I'm planning on getting a Hyper 64 in the near future - It would be nice to see if I'm being ripped off or getting a bargin. I'm sure other forum members feel the same?

I sell the Revision 1 Boards for $25.00-$50.00..(Brand New)

I'd say a Bin price for one would be $59.00 as I've seen on Ebay..(sell for)

It fluctuates too much..

I paid $10.00 for a loose Buriki One cart..Then I see them selling for $40.00 to $50.00..(On Ebay)

A Revision 2 Motherboard could run you anything...they are so Scarce..
I'd say a starting Bid would be at least $100.00 on one of them..

So in general for a Revision 2 I'd say $100.00-$150.00


I'd looking at Ebay prices..where I estimate my prices from..

I could be totally off...

SS64 $120-$140 (brand new retail), $65+ ebay, I'd say $60 low $90 high

SS2 WARRIOR OF RAGE $130 (brand new retail), Not currently on ebay, a total guess $80 low $110 high

Samurai Shodown: WARRIOR OF RAGE was the second Samurai Shodown game to come out on NG64 and it was ported to playstation under the same name

I paid £130 for an NOS Rev 2 with FFWA and both SS's and £50 for a mint Buriki in a private sale so there's some UK prices for ya.

I also paid £130 for a NOS Rev 2 H64 with FF:WA, Buriki One and SS64.
I can get brand new games for £75 plus shipping. You will need more than one motherboard if you plan to play different games. There are mobos for fighting, driving and shooting.

That SS 3D for PS1 isn't the same SS2 for HNG64. It would be the 3rd installment of the series, I think.

Actually the one on PSX was a sequel to warrior's rage wasn't it?...there were never any direct ports.

Warriors rage 2 is a godawful game and nothing like the 2 hyper games! it also does away with all the SS characters only keeping an elderly Hanzo and Haohmaru.

I would argue that hyper64 stuff is not sold or traded in anywhere near the quantities needed to facilitate a price guide. Many would say that even a system as popular as Capcom's CPS2 simply isn't bought and sold regularly enough to make a price guide workable, accurate and justifyable. Having attempted to start a price guide for CPS2 I'm now inclined to agree...

I think the market is too small for a price guide to be taken seriously, and SHO I wanted to create the guide for the very same reason not knowing what to pay

In CEX in London they are selling a used Rev.2 mobo and the 4 fighting games (complete kits) for £350. I think that is way, way too much. They also have a used AW with Demolish Fist, but they have split the two up. The mobo is £260 and the game is £65. Amazing how they can get away with that.
