Twenty years ago, August 2005, I started Arcadecomponents as a business after having a hard time finding 2x 2149 RAM chips to fix a Pole Position PCB.

Thank you to everyone who has entrusted me to supply parts and repairs. I'm slow at times, but get the job done and way cheaper then my wife wants.

My repair logs shared publicly and are >2000 entries deep. They can be found on the NLG forums at: https://newlifegames.com/nlg/index.php?board=25.0

You can find some of the reverse engineeered pinouts of custom chips out on the Neo Geo Dev Wiki and the PLD Archive.

I wanted to stop here and give many thanks to the Neo Geo community who skeptically trusted me to share info I found when I told y'all I was starting to repair them and asked about common failures and error messages way back then. Skeptically is maybe too kind...hahaha... but I kept to my word and shared what I found!

Thanks everyone!

Any pics of this wife?

On FB where friends can see... She has a gnarly scar behind her ear where they went in about a year and a half ago and removed a 35mm acoustic neuroma. I seriously was wondering if I was still going to have a wife before she finally got a decent diagnosis. Her PCP said she was "spastic" and it took RapidMed, a doc-in-the-box , to actually give her a real result.
