Avoid tt-computer on eBay FUCKING BASTARDS!

I needed to buy a little USB mini-SD reader, and found a cheap one on eBay, listed by tt-computer .

When I attempted to pay, I was re-directed to their automated checkout system, and for some reason they wanted to charge me £3 more than what the auction stated for postage!

Now £3 is not a lot, but I wasnt going to pay it just to use their fucking automated system! So I sent them this message:

Hi there,

Your online checkout system is attempting to charge me £5.99 for shipping when in fact your auction states that I need only pay £2.99. It's not a big deal but I dont want to pay £3 more to use some silly checkout system.

Please send me an invoice for the correct amount and I will pay you ASAP.

Thanks!!

Next thing I know, they file an unpaid item disupute :very_ang:

So, naturally I reply to this:

Hey there,

Can you please send me a correct invoice as your online checkout system is trying to
charge me £5.99 postage, instead of £2.99 as stated on the auction. I am willing to pay THE CORRECT
PRICE. and can do so immediately. If I keep getting these reminders I will simply leave you a negative
as I have tried to contact you more than once about this matter.

Thanks

They reply with guess what? ANOTHER unpaid item reminder! :very_ang:

This was a few weeks ago... Nothing heard from them, but this silly unpaid item alert messing up my ebay.

I was bored tonight, so I left them a neg and sent them this message.:kekeke:

Hello.

As you seem to be over-automated (and do not bother to respond to my e-mails and messages)
, I will take the liberty to leave you yet another negative feedback for your growing collection,
many of which mention your postage rate con. You cannot bully me into paying an excessive postage fee
outside of eBay.

I am Looking forward to seeing your 3rd rate business flop.

Anyway, take a look at their feedback, they seem to enjoy adding extra postage on the automated system, most people have just bought the stuff and paid anyway.

Guess I should have checked their feedback, also I tried to find a way to contact ebay but there are no fields for postage-scamming on the e-bay customer support system :(

Well virtually every deal on ebay overcharges for the postage and even some of the stores I use overcharge.

If I posted about this everytime I purchased something, this place wouldn't be called Neo-Geo anymore.

overcharging isn't the issue though (although like you said, it's all too common on ebay)... this man was quoted one price and charged another.... bad buisness.

I know people overcharge on postage, but this was blatant, and even when I contacted them they didn't even give me the courtesy of a reply. I wonder how many eBay shops do business this way?

If a buyer purchases an item they should accept the advertised postage price, they don't have to buy after all. If however the price changes without both parties agreement that's just a scam.:oh_no:
