I came here back in '02 to talk KOF. I didn't know shit about the neo but I liked KOF. The forums led me to other great SNK titles and eventually buying my own Neo. Now my Neo phase has kind of passed. I'm sure once I have money I'll really get into it, but for I'm just gaming on whatever. I stuck around for the dynamics and the people. Most other forums have that feeling of anominity to them that prevents really connecting with members. Here I feel like you can't just troll like a tard, it doesn't work. This board has a very organic feeling to it like the internet wall doesn't exist and we're just a bunch of stubborn fucks in a lobby bullshitting to pass time.

I don't get it honestly. I don't know if its the breed of anal gamers that are willing to drop $400 on one game that produces sex addicts, cross dressers, Kernow, and a drunk lawyer or what. Either way it fucking rocks

I came here for the Neo but this place is mostly just about the market place and the tech forums for me now. My interest in video games that aren't arcade pickup-put down titles has declined severely and the Neo fits that description pretty well. Spose I'm still here because it's the only forum I've ever frequented for such a long time and still enjoyed reading the bullshit that goes on around here.

As to me, my waning interest towards the Neo*Geo, home cart collecting not included, is simply because the arcade scene in my neck of the woods has died, and so has the competition. Out of the five people I know IRL who actually know how to play KoF, SS, LB, Fatal Fury, etc... most of them are family men and have very little spare time and some of them are just bums, like me
