The Final stages are Heaven and Hell, doesn't anybody think SNK is pushing it just alittle. I mean they have God in the game "Lord" as they seem to call him, thats just not right. And to make things worse some fighter's endings they attack "Lord" such as Akuma and Demeteri (or whatever). First of all you fight "Lord" you're kinda get the Shi* kicked out of you. I guess it's thw whole God thing that annoys me.
You've got to bear in mind, tho', that this is a game made by Japanese, a people among whom Christians are a very small minority. For a non-Christian Japanese to include Christian theological imagery in a video game or a piece of art is no more strange to him than it would be for an American to do the same with Greek or Norse mythological imagery. Western ideas, traditions, and culture have been a source of increasing curiosity for the Japanese ever since the country gradually began easing up on its isolationist policies in the last couple centuries. As a Catholic, I'm not terribly offended by the imagery presented by SVC CHAOS -- it really doesn't set out to defame God or inspire support for the Devil. If you're uncomfortable with it, tho', I'd recommend you steer clear of Japanese mangaka such as Nagai Gou. Gou utilizes Christian imagery (not sure if he's Christian, himself, or not) in almost all his works -- it doesn't crop up too much in his Super Robot stuff, but then you've got the more obvious series, like Devilman...

SEE?
At first, I assumed JESUS was the main character's name. Then I noticed that the game's full title is "JESUS ~Kyoufu no Bio-Monster~" (The Terrifying Bio-Monster), and started to wonder just how offensive this game might be. But after reading screencaps 3-6, it appears that cap# 4 indicates that the space station that serves as the setting for the story is named JESUS ("20,000 kilometers above the Earth, floating in space, the skylab 'JESUS'").
