I know I know another fighting game, but I find them fun to do. A very forgotten game martial masters is.
Whoever worked on the game was definitely inspired by Capcom/SNK. The engine is pretty solid and borrows a lot from capcom/snk games. For example it has pursuit attacks (vampire hunter series), shadow attacks (vism from Street Fighter Alpha 3/Tandem from Jojo), guard breaks, universal overhead (third strike) on top of adding some new things. In versus mode it even has 3 characters vs 3 but single player is 1 vs 1 like king of fighters.
New things such as breaking out of combos using meter, jumping backwards and going forward command and more. All of the characters have a lot of personality in this game without being too crazy. The animation and art style is extremely good too.
If you do good enough you fight your rival at stage 5 much like Street Fighter Alpha 2. I thought that was a cool touch.
In any case not the best picture quality but it is the best I could come up with. Maybe later I can dial it in a bit since I don't know optimal timings for PGM. Thus far I know cranes infinites and Red Snake combo loops. Definitely want to learn Master Huang,Saojin, and Reikas combos.
