On average, I am guessing by 2K2, they should at least between 14-16 (I know that Dong Hwan is older that Jae Hoon by a year). Anyway, when I looked at the Kim Kaphwan endings from the previous Fatal Fury games and those two look like they are between (7-10 years old), so how can they be 20 and 21 by Garou? Anyway, they should put both Kim brothers at ages 15 and 16 where Jae Hoon and Dong Hwan begin to develop their abilities. It would make a funny storyline. Jae Hoon is more like Kim and Dong Hwan’s personality is a bit like Jhun. And both are jealous of Choi and Chang because they both feel ready for the King of Fighters despite their age. Look at Bao and Kula; they entered at very young ages. I wouldn’t be surprised if Dong Hwan is an Athena fan because in the Garou Profile, his favorite music is…J-Pop.

PS: Why do Jae Hoon strikes with fire and Dong Hwan strikes with electricity in Garou? I thought Kim implied to Terry in one of the other Fatal Fury Storylines, not sure which one, that its was kind of cheating using chi-based attacks (referring to Terry’s power wave). So, if Kim doesn’t believe in that, why are his sons using energy type attacks? Or did Kim imply to Terry that he doesn’t like using projectiles?

The reason they look older in MOTW is because they ARE older in it. It's a few years into the future as the time line's concerned. I like them both very much, but the timeline's already messed up in KOF (AOF and Fatal Fury in the same game). Heck, if they did put the brothers in, then why not go and do Rock as well. That would be sweet!

Why choose? I'd rather see two Korea teams. They've got enough characters.

Well, Kim does sort of use fire in his Hou'ou Kyaku in RBS. As for Dong Hwan, maybe Benimaru is his real father

And I know that Kim Sue Il/Young Mok in Kizuna uses fire in his Hou'ou Kyaku (massive phoenix + embers = awesome display of awesomeness that is awesome and reeks of awesomeness )

Here are some intros I made up for the Kim Brothers:

*Jae Hoon vs. Kim

-Jae: "Father please explain to me the ways!"
-Kim: "You're not ready. When you're ready, you'll understand."

*Jae Hoon vs. Choi and Chang

(Choi and Chang appear side by side in front of Jae)
-Jae: "Evil is unforgivable!"
-Choi & Chang: "Aaaaaaaah! Not you too! Not again!!!"

*Jae Hoon vs. Jhun

-Jae(stretching): "One, two, three...let's go."
-Jhun: "This is interesting."

*Jae Hoon vs. Mei Li

(Mei is in Hero Stance)
-Jae: "Mei, you look rediculous!"
-Mei: "Shut up, Jae Hoon!"

*Dong Hwan vs. Kim

(Dong Hwan is laying back, snoring, then Kim gets pissed and slaps him upside his head).
-Kim: "Get up, lazy!!!"
-Dong: "Aaaaah, dad!"

*Dong vs. Choi and Chang

(Choi and Chang appear side by side in front of Dong)
-Dong (staring straight at them): "What are you clowns looking at, huh!!! You think you have it bad!!!!"
-Choi and Chang make a frightend expression at Dong.

*Dong Hwan vs. Jhun

-Dong: "Hey Master Jhun, I think I'll give Athena a victory kiss after I beat you!!!"
-Jhun: "Like hell you will, rookie!"

*Dong Hwan vs. Mei Li

-Dong Hwan (smiling, then laughing): "Awwwww, is little miss supergirl gonna beat me. You'll never beat a true superhero, even with your stupid cape."
-Mei Li (with an angry expression): "That's it, Dong Hwan!!! Now I'm really gonna kick your @$$!!!!"

As far as things go, yeah; The time line really IS messed up! Best example? Geese died in 1996. So that's when Terry started taking care of Rock (see Terry's Real Bout ending; that little kid is Rock). In '99 & 2000, when Terry disappears for a year? He's gone to train/hang out with Rock (see the intro in Mark of the Wolves). In Mark of the Wolves, Rock is a teen, right? And Hokutomaru is a lil' kid, right? Well, in the Fatal Fury team story for 2001, Andy is training WITH Hokutomaru!! If that's the case, they should just say, "fuck it!", and go ahead and add the Mark of the Wolves characters. It'd be cool... Andy with his own team... him, Mai, Hokutomaru and Joe. It could be Terry, Rock, Mary, and uhmm... the girl from MOTW with the ferret (i'm SO ashamed I forgot her name!)

Real Bout happened in 98. MOTW happened ten years later. In MOTW, Jae is 19 and Dong is 20. In 2K2, Jae would be 13 and Dong would be 14.

Is impossible so the Kim brothers are to train their habilities athought yuri can learnt all kyokugenryu tricks in one year , (there is a extrem, other characters learnt in more time) more , the programers don´t made a team or Kim clones similar to Kyo clones in KOF´99 right?.

One reason that Rock NEVER appears in future KOF´s in the intro against Rock, Terry made their special posture and say :Hey Rookie !!
Conclution: The King of Dighters Maximum Mayhey in the first tournament of Rock in the two STORYLINES.

Age and continuity really don't matter anymore, especially in KOF. Ryo & company are actually a good 15-20 years older than Terry; Ryo and Robert were in their early 20's in AOF2, when they fought young Geese (who was in his mid 20's). At the end of AOF2, Geese murders Jeff Bogard (he mentions it in some endings). That was when Terry and Andy were little kids (and they also fought against Geese when he was 50). So technically, KOF '94 was already a pretty big timeline screw-up right there. The other thing is that, if you actually look at that "profile" nonsense for each character (blood type, favorite food, etc.), you'll see that KOF's characters don't age from year to year. Kim himself has been 30 for seven years!

Then again, his two sons are already strikers in 2000. They already have sprites drawn for them (head-swaps). If they're going to throw out timelines (and they already did), I say throw in more characters, and have another dream match. The more, the merrier.
