It’s really cool that you run this from your house. There’s a lot of cool games and cabs there, something for everyone. I saw double dragon running in one pic, that was one of the first games i remember playing as a kid right next to a rampage cabinet at the checkout at Jamesway.

Thanks! I try to keep a good mix of titles to try to appeal to as many people as possible. I tell them I even take requests. I have a lot of PCBs and multis in storage that I probably have whatever someone wants to play. I need a dedicated fighting cab (which will eventually be Mortal Kombat II when I get around to de converting the Raiden Fighters machine), a dedicated light gun shooting game, a rhythm game (hopefully JuBeat), and a modern HD cab like a Vewlix. I am in a space crunch now to fit everything I want in the room!

Best way to start the year off is in the arcade! I got some nice lighted signs for Christmas and got to put them to their first use. It’s great to have identifying signage for the arcade when I am open. It’s really the last thing that was really missing from The Game Room. I have a number of games that have broken down that I need to get repaired after I gather some funds. We had 20 people and lots of fun!

Looking good. Do you have NBA JAM TE? There’s a cool rewind patch of it where it adds Shaq to team up with Penny, has Barkley and other guys unlocked and adds Michael Jordan to the game as well as some other stuff. I just finished a 4 player cabinet that’s a multi, and i did the hack in MAME and it’s probably the most popular game in my house now.

I don’t. It is on my list of games to acquire. I was really surprised to hear a few kids tell me that my 4 player High Impact Football was their favorite game in the arcade. I have a Wrestlefest PCB to swap in sometime and I had wanted a basketball and maybe a hockey 4 player game to add to the rotation too.

Wrestlefest is an awesome game. I have that on my setup, i bet that would get some plays. The 4 player cabinet i just did was originally a Konami turtles cabinet, but has had many lives lol. The monitor was the only thing that sort of worked when i bought it and it has terrible burn in oddly enough from High Impact football.

The pandoras really are this weird microcosm of awesome and janky. I dont dislike that they exist one bit. Theyre all over the place but some of the things they do well are surprising and also surprising how well they actually do them!We have some cool members here! I spent the day getting The Game Room ready for Wednesday. We decided to go Kawaii for the candies this month.
The Blast City will be running Mamorukun Curse (Xbox 360) since I just got the sweet Psychic Drive Brook UFB to JAMMA adapter PCB!
The Impress will run the cutest arcade game setup I have…Puzzle Uo Poko with custom art from Spectre and repro cat paws from Lions3. I can’t wait for people to try it out!
My daughter tells me kids are asking for Tetris so I put VS Tetris into the Red Tent. VS Tetris is the Tengen version from the NES.
I found someone who makes a cheap control panel and marquee for a Golden Tee/Silver Strike Bowling cab to turn it from a trackball to 2 player 6 buttons so you can put a Pandora Box in it. I was given a Pandora Box so eventually that will be put in, but first I plan to install my RingEdge 2 multi to get use out of the HD monitor. I am looking forward to doing the project…

Tonight was the last arcade night until school starts back up in September. My summer is going to be crazy busy and I won’t be home. It just means that it matches the schedule of the skating rink here this year. I managed to get my Golden Tee/Silver Strike Bowling cab up and running. I just need to make a bezel…
Surprisingly, my Turbo machine didn’t break down once and my Big Brave pinball which had been stuck in reset for the last couple months came back to life and worked all night without a problem. Sweet!
During the summer I plan to rebuild the flippers on the Supersonic pinball, fix up the Cruis’n USA cab in my garage, and try to repair the Nintendo VS Red Tent. I will update the repair progress as I accomplish stuff. It’s all fun!
