i could probably get you some. i mean if all i have to do is ship em over it wouldn't be a lot of trouble. they sell em here, have a big shop in town full of cigars. also some of that havana club rum. my mom loves it, reminds her of back home. i always smuggle some rum back with me. as for cigars, i never tried, but i'm sure it can't be too hard.

PM sent.

Smoking a Drew Estate Java, box pressed. Latte infused.

Lit with butane.

It's a very good cigar.

Light draw, but not as easy as the Padrón.

Overall a treat so far.

Smoked an Isla Del Sol today.

Chocolate infused.

Very creamy smoke, light and easy on the nose.

Very impressed with it, especially for $4.

Stayed lit the entire time, nice draw.

7.5/10

I usually smoke:

Macanudo Hyde Parks
Arturo Fuente Spanish Lonsdales

I regularly try stuff I haven't smoked before but those two are my standards.

The only cigar I've had in recent times that was really bad and I'd never get again was an Alec Bradley American Classic.

Good idea TonK on the thread. I've never tried any of those infused flavor cigars before. Maybe I'll give one of them a whirl next.

Thanks CB.

Smoked a Punch today, firm draw, tasty notes of cedar and maybe cinnamon.

Will get another one.

Smoked a Rocky Patel LITE today, didn't like it too much.

Everything about it was good except the taste.

I have a real dark one I might have tomorrow.

My Cuban's should be here any day now.

Also smoked an A. Fuente petite - not bad for a cigar as big as a Camel Wide.

Arturo Fuentes are nice man. I haven't had a bad one yet. I'd like to try an OpusX one of these days...so expensive though.

We've had rain every day since Sunday and I've been wanting to have a cigar all week. This weather needs to clear up.

Although I'm more into pipes and snuff these days, I still enjoy my Dutch-type, German and Swiss cigars every now and then. I also like Cuban cigars to some extend.

My fave brands are De Olifant, Partagas, August Schuster, Ramon Allones and Hajenius.

I was heavily into big girth cigars at first but now went back to the smaller formats (<= corona). Although the bigger ones are smoother and give you more aromes, I prefer the punch of small cigars and cigarillos these days.

Ashtons are a bit overpriced over here. What did you pay for yours?

Yeah I usually smoke corona sized cigars as well. I tend to mix it up a lot though.

That one cost me $8 and change.

Good price, cigars of this quality level cost 8-10€ and up over here...

I'm smoking one of my beloved De Olifant VOCs as we speak. Almost perfect example of a fine Dutch-type cigar, they are heavily, no, criminally underrated IMO.

1 Cohiba Siglo I

Quite nice but overpriced IMO, at least over here. Goes well with an espresso.

I think the standard series is better than most Siglos, that specially goes for the excellent Robusto and the best of them all, the Panatelas. The Lanceros are awesome as well but way too steep for me.

1 Partagas Coronas Junior

Do they still make them? Our local importer (5th Avenue) claims that Partagas stopped production of them. They're machine-made but still great cigars, small, punchy and with lots of typical earthy Partagas taste.

If you like them, give the Partagas Mille Fleurs and Short Churchills a try.

You might have to buy them for me.

I got a guy in Canada that gets me Cuban's.

Some are great, but some really are unsmokeable.

Hey guys. I've just booked a holiday to Cuba for next month. Have any of you guys ever done a plantation tour over there? I'm interested in more of a personal tour if anyone has any experience/recommendations?

Send a PM to aria, aka Bobak.

Back on topic.

La Flor Dominicana - Chisel. Holy FUCK is this thing delicious.

Earthy and floral, strong. It's so damn good I'm burning my fingers getting the last puff from it.

Time to bump this.

I'm totally out of control now.

Prolly sitting on $2,000 worth of smokes in my home - $15k in my storage locker.

Smoked an OpusX, Partagas SERIE D No. 4 and an Anejo 77 "Shark" today.

Have an Alec Bradley event tomorrow I'm hosting at my local B&M.

If anyone needs anything cigar related, LMK. Even Cubans.

Nice.

I have a 200 cigar humidor with an electronic humidifier. I *Highly* recommend this to you as well Tonk:
http://www.thompsoncigar.com/produc...5/c/0/pc/0.uts?cm_vc=10601&cm_sp=Browse*PD*NA

Believe it or not, without it you likely have already ruined your cigars.

I keep the humidity at about 75 percent as I prefer them a bit more moist, but from the factory they have it set at 70, and recommend anywhere from 70-85 percent.

I'll take a pic of my setup here soon to show everyone. Offhand Fuentes is probably one of my favorite cigars as well as the Romeo Y Julieta.

My friends father went to cuba on biz a few yrs ago and brought back a box. I still have one left (smoked the other) and it was good. It really wasn't as spectacular as I'd have hoped (not better than some good cigars i've had here).

Regarding the lighter, ditch that. You either should be using wood matches or a butane lighter for your stogies. Anything else and you are tainting the flavor.
:shame:

Personally I go with a straight cut when cutting. I've read experts recommend only cut about 75% of the width of the cigar for maximum draw. Anyone else try that as well?

What other sites do people use?

Thompson, Cigarbid?

I want to get one of those xikar cutters. Do you have one of those? I'm still using a crappy plastic guillotine.

Yeah, any particular one you want?

Remember, they all have lifetime warranties.

As for your humidity - you better turn it down, 70% is about the highest you should go - unless your humidor has a leak and you need to keep it that high.

You're probably going to end up cracking wrappers at that high of humidity, not to mention beetles hatching.

If you need any help, lmk.

BIC's are fine to light with, as they are butane, but I got a Xikar Ellipse and a Xikar Xi3 Titanium Nitride cutter.

I have a Cuban humidor, Rare humidor and daily smokes tupperdor.

I've switched to Boveda packs... They are awesome.

Pics of Humidor? How are you keeping humidity up?

I've read anywhere up to 85 is safe??? 75 should be fine? Tupperdor? Is that similar to the coolerdor? :)

Yeah, the Tupperdor is the same thing as a coolidor.

By humidor, I mean I keep my Cubans in one, my rares in the other and my daily smokes in a Tupperware container.

Boveda packs are a 2-way system and hold steady RH in a well seasoned humidor.

You better check again on that 85% - even 75% is a wee bit high, but it's not too bad. Might dilute the taste a bit.

If you need any cigars or accessories, lmk via PM and I'll price whatever you want.

I got OpusX in stock - and Anejo, you may want to grab a few for special occasions.

The Opus will knock you on your ass.
