So, I saw this Tekken 6 bundle in my local Best Buy, with the arcade stick and game... I don't care about Tekken, but the arcade stick has my attention, as I don't have a good one for 360. Are these any good? Easily modded? Arcade hardware owners needed.

Any good? Not really, unless modded I'm guessing. Easily modded? Definitely not, from what I've read. I guess it depends on how much the bundle costs. But even if its around 50-60 bucks, you could spend a little more money and get something much nicer.

Some things to be aware of:

Right now the original TE stick is buy one, get one free. Same for the MvC2 TE stick. This is probably more money than the T6 bundle, but its also a way nicer stick. If you know of someone else who is looking for a nice stick and would maybe want to pay for half, that would be a good deal for you.

HRAP EX-SE is only $99 bucks on Hori's site. This stick is full Seimitsu, LS-32 stick (can't remember what kind of buttons though). If you are used to Sanwa parts this stick might feel weird to you, but this is a nice stick especially at that price.

If you want to go really cheap, this is still probably a much better option than than the T6 stick. I think its still kind of a bitch to mod but probably no harder than the T6 stick.

If you buy this you still won't have a good stick for the 360. I bought one for the same reason that you are thinking of buying one and I regret it. The stick isn’t even worthy of the hori name and it wouldn’t surprise me if hori outsourced production of the stick. Plus it has terrible battery life.

It's a fine stick...I whip ass in SSF4, Tekken6 and GGPO with my stock T6 stick(360 version).

I also use it for Shooters..got to the final stage of Futari multiple times on the 360 with it.

Cheap, awesome stick. Not "tournament" grade...but who cares? It's wireless and responsive.

Also works great on PC with the wireless dongle.

Are there any other opinions on this, or is it a consensus middle-of-the-road stick? I have some TE sticks for my PS3, and none at all for the 360. I'm not a huge Tekken fan either, but you can pick up the game now for $20, so I'm not sure if I should get the game individually since it's that cheap or go for the bundle, which was overstocked big time at the local Best Buy last time I went. It wouldn't surprise me if they try to move some of those bundles...

I wouldn't pay more than 40-50 bucks for the bundle.

I think the consensus is that its a pretty poor stick to be honest.
