tapping stereo lineout form 2 slot?

Thanks for the help on the video errors.

Now I'm just wondering how to tap a line out feed from the 2 slot as I'm trying to consolize the mvs with just a 5v 3a psu.

Looks like encoder signal over-modulation interfering with the sync. Does the jrok work with other board sets ?

Are you using composite output ? Is the supply to the encoder OK.

found the problem. My sync wasn't connected properly >_<

thanks, I just tried that mod but still don't have sound. Before I had a faint bit of sound, but now I don't detect anything =/

I used the same psu you recommended in your wiki article so I must be doing something wrong here. Headphone outs worked perfectly with the supergun.

You don't get sound because a number of sound chips (DAC, op-amps, etc.) is not getting power. On an unmodded 2-slot these chips are supplied with +5V but not the +5V from the PSU/jamma edge: it's a secondary +5V converted from +12V by a voltage regulator 7805. Follow these instructions to get around it:

After doing that just take sound off the headphone jack.
