haven't attempted to MOD my new NGCD from PAL to NTSC yet.

i did tried something - i bought RF mudulator from radioshack a while back and tried to use this i hooked my RCA plugs and composite pluf into it havinf this coverter unit to output to NTSC TV. ok, i was getting the NGCD logo to display out then it goes into the cd-menu but i thought the game should automatically load from there. am i supposed to still press the play icon to play the game (i'm using an SSRPG neo cd) ???

another is the output is in B/W and the display keeps on scrolling and scrolling up and down, whatup with this???

i also found this ebay item i might be able to use but maybe i should run this by to you guys if you think this will work. check this ebay item out: PAL to NTSC converter

you guys think this will work???

if not then i'll MOD this myself or have professionals to do it...any recommendations for professional help???

You do need to push the start button for the game to load. I am not sure if it is good for you big screen tv to get a pal siganl? I don't know if it could hurt anything. I'm not sure if that pal converter will work? If you do the ntsc mod you will need a rgb or scart cable to get color. All it will do is give you a black and white picture. You would be better off getting the right pal converter plug and play then your done. That is just my opinion. Everyone that has done the pal to ntsc mod has got the scrolling to stop but only get black and white for a picture?

as far as i know, you can do the mod your self, but yes you will get a B&W signal becuase of the pal.
it's easy to fix that, but either cuting the jumper inside your system from pal to ntsc or us, or changing the crystal.
on most of the systems i converted i just change the crystal and that was it.
try it.

Thanks for the nice things to say about me as a seller. The converter you had a link to I'm not sure if that would work for you? Try giving Jeff Kurtz a email about the converters or talk to neogeo2k2. If I find something that will work for you I will shoot you a email.
